Can this be used to remove eye makeup?

We haven't specifically tested it as a makeup remover, but it does provide a thorough, gentle cleanse. If you're wearing makeup or SPF, we recommend our Ceramide + Ectoin Gentle Gel Cleanser. It's gentle and removes both!

Is this safe for sensitive or rosacea-prone skin?

Yes! Clinically tested and proven safe for sensitive and rosacea-prone skin. And accepted by the National Rosacea Society! Our Foaming Oil Cleanser is fragrance-free, non-stripping, and thoughtfully developed with your skin barrier in mind.

Can I use this on my body?

Yes, but it's designed (and tested!) for the face. If you're looking for a body cleanser, our Pre-Biotic Face + Body Foaming Oil Cleanser might make more sense.

Is this safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding?

Not a miracle wash but cleanses nicely for day to day. A little goes a long way!

This is a super gentle face wash. It doesn't particularly have a smell which some people like. I don't mind a fragrance. A tiny amount lathers up really well so a little goes a long way. It's nice for a daily cleanse and doesn't irritate my skin. It's not a miracle worker by any means and probably needs a paired exfoliant to really get in there and get clean, but otherwise it's nice for pretty much every skin type.

My favorite!

I have normal skin with sensitivity. This has been a really great addition to my routine to repair the skin barrier after using too many exfoliating products. It removes makeup effortlessly, yet doesn’t strip the skin. The creamy texture lathers great so you actually feel clean unlike many other “oils” out there! My skin hasn’t looked this good ever!

Great cleanser even for a mature skin

I received a sample size of this cleanser last Christmas and I loved it. It is a gentle yet effective cleanser even for a mature skin (I'm 57 with some oily patches). I've had problems in the past with cleansers that irritate my skin and cause breakout but this cleanser does not irritate my skin.
