I love this product! They're super cute and simple to use. I have really long and thick hair and they hold it super well with no issues. They're the perfect size, and I carry them around in my pencil case at school. Now that I know how to use them, I'm never going back! They're also pretty good value for the money, if you're just looking for a good place to start for hair sticks, these are a brilliant option. I recommend them to my friends all the time. They hold well through athletic stuff and the damage to my hair is significantly less than hair ties. They are also great for everything from a casual messy bun to a more formal look. I wear these on a daily basis, or also for performances or nicer events. It's all a matter of learning how to style them! The only thing I will say is that if you're really good at losing hair ties or pencils, these will disappear exactly the same. You will probably find yourself looking to buy these again because they are actually a brilliant choice, fairly priced, super cute and sturdy.

My daughter got these. The colors are beautiful she likes using them. My only thing is they do have a little bend to them. But I have longer hair then my daughter and prefer my wooden one that there is no give sense you have to kind of weave it through your hair. They hold my daughters hair great her hair goes to the upper mid of her back. They don’t weigh much and there’s no weight to them when in your hair like what you feel with a clip or hair tie. She’s gotten compliments from her teachers and classmates. They don’t catch or pull her hair. She says they are comfortable and she really likes that they are different colors. I’ve taught her how to use them without a hair tie and she took it up quick. So now she can just use them or even in a pinch a pencil and not worry about having a hair tie.

Honestly, I’m not entirely impressed by these. I guess my expectations were a bit too high and it has left me disappointed. I find the colors very nice, not too pointy, and the finish is smooth, no snagging on barbs. Maybe too smooth. They slide right out of my hair. They are too thin, therefore, too flimsy to be strong. So, in an effort to keep enough tension on them to keep them in my hair they are also bending. I also find them too long. I end up with too much stick poking out from behind my head. They catch on too many things. Ouch! But the reason I got these was for their waterproofness. I tend to put my hair up right after my shower, staying damp for hours. But if I can’t keep them in my hair and they snag on everything I’ve accomplished nothing. Essentially, I’ve given the stars for their waterproofness, beauty, and quality finish. I deducted stars for being too long to function well and being too thin to be strong.

Nice and sturdy. Works with thick hair. Takes some finesse to learn how to do it right and not too tight.

These are perfect and the colors are rich! Perfect for a twist or a spin on the messy bun!! Lightweight and easy to use!

This product, I find, is much better for your hair than elastics. It causes less breakage and in my opinion looks nicer. Ideal for medium to long haired people, and makes a great gift to oneself or others.
