Great in coffee, hot chocolate or carob drinks
I love the flavor of malt in cocoa or coffee drinks. I mix up cocoa powder, malt powder, and either organic sugar or sucanat and keep it in a well sealed jar, then add a heaping teaspoon to my coffee. I prefer the darker malt if I can find it, but any malt extract works, and this was a good price. Just make sure to keep it sealed up or it absorbs moisture from the air and becomes very sticky. I either re-seal the bag with packing tape or pour it all into jars with tight fitting lids and a couple desiccant packets.

Briess is Quality
Very good DME. Use it in most of my recipes for additional body. Unless you're the kind that likes to brew Bud "lager" clones. Stick to your rice syrup solids and leave the real beer to real brewers ;)

good product
We make our own beer. This, along with the other DME are a great way of making high quality beer without investing huge amounts of time. We use distillers yeast, DME, hops and molasses, honey or agave to make our beer. Total time to make the beer is 2 hours on the front end, 5-7 days fermenting and 20 minutes pouring into mason jars. People who love bread fresh out of the oven will appreciate beer that is fresh from the fermenter.

Good Value
Good Malt, and I got it cheap. I couldn't tell the difference between this product, and the the stuff I buy at my local home brew shop. I bought this due to its price; would buy it again it the price is right.

A nice neutral beer starter
This made a great starting base for my homebrew. Thanks to the lack of hops, I was able to introduce some really interesting herbal combinations to bring out an entirely different kind of bitterness. Really delightful to work with.

Stretches recipe
i add an extra pound of DME to my beer kits. This raises the specific gravity enough, so I get a half gallon more beer. Otherwise, the so-called 5 gallon kit is really 4.5 gallons and subsequent calculations for the priming sugar are mostly guesswork.
