I didn't use it at all. But it is exactly as it describes and showed up in record timing. We just decided we didn't have the right pistons or rings and it would take more than we could spare to piece it together.

How could you put two different kinds of gears in the same package??Smaller gear OBVIOUSLY will not fit the chain.

This was a perfect fit. I had to advance the timing just a tiny bit to get it to align with the pin, which was expected since my old timing set chain had stretched over time, allowing the timing to retard slightly, and this new one is still at factory standard. I should see a bit more horse power and fuel efficiency from my old 460 again now.

Huge upgrade to the stock timing chain and roller set for my 1977 F150 with a 460. The original one w had become so sloppy that it wouldn’t stay in time. And the plastic coated teeth on the original were cracking and falling off.

The ability to set your camshaft timing is critical to match various rpm applications. Ford had done many versions of camshaft grinds that requires one to fine tune the relationship cam to crank. In my application of use in a motorhome required a heavy pulling low rpm camshaft timing. This helped the engine develope usable power in the below 5000 rpm zone. You still need to do some homework and measurements to maximize the benifit this 3 keyway set provides.
