Will this fit a Chapin?

You need to measure the hose size ( ID internal diameter) of your Chapin sprayer. Most sprayers, Solo, Stihl, etc use 3/8" diameter hose. This wand has a stepped hose barb connection to accommodate 1/4" and 3/8" ID tubing. This range should cover almost all sprayers. Do not forget to purchase a replacement hose clamp.

Would this fit a Northstar Model 2270 26 gal sprayer?

Your sprayer has a 3/8" hose according to the Amazon script. My wand has a universal connector from 3/16" to 3/8", so yours should be compatible. I believe that you can get replacement connectors from Solo .

Can you adjust the stream to get enough pressure to clean under a truck with this?

The nozzle adjusts from spray to steam very well. It will depend on the pressure on the garden sprayer how far it sprays.

Can you lock the handle for continuous spray?

The handle does not lock for continuous spray.
