So I've never used the instaclip mantles before.....I have mixed emotions about them. They are much easier to put on, but has these metal clips that stick out the side after you are done, and could see the clips coming undone while transporting, or cleaning. Also the clips don't really seem to seal all the way around the mantle tube there is a minute gap where it seems a little gas could escape the mantle. But with the design issues discussed....they do work, and seem bright.

I bought these to have as replacements and they have worked out well. Very good to have extras on hand as well.

Sure beats tieing little knots.
