Dentyne Pure Mint with Melon Accents Sugar Free Gum, 60 Packs of 9 Pieces (540 Total Pieces)

I love the flavor combination of this gum & neither the mint nor the melon flavor is too strong, they’re just right! I don’t enjoy gum that has so much mint that it could make your eyes water, so this I think this gum is a good middle ground so to speak. The flavor lasts a decent amount of time, but not super long, so that’s the only con I can think of. I wish it were still sold in stores around here, but they seem to be discontinued, so Amazon saved the day by carrying it!😊

Best gum I've ever had ever. Very nice mint flavor - Not overwhelming like most mint gum brands. I don't personally taste melon, more like a light vanilla. And it cleans up your breath rather than masking it. Great for tango and ballroom.FYI - a hint: A few months ago, I bought a box of 10 packs, was about $10 or so - But they don't seem to offer it now here. The box of 10 packs is $11.73 on candygalaxy.com - which makes it $1.17 a pack instead of $2.30/pack here (half the cost). There's something about this gum, the flavor, it's not to hard on the jaws, the flavor lasts a long time. Wish any of the stores near me still carried it, but glad I can still find it on Amazon.

I've been chewing Dentyne Mint with Melon Accents gum for years, and I love it. However, locally, it's kind of hard to find, so I ordered this from Amazon.It's hard to describe the flavor, because it's so subjective. However, it does have a hint of mint, but I'm not sure about the melon part. I just know I like it. I also like this gum because it tends to last longer than other brands I've chewed. Also, I've chewed this gum from packets that are five months past their use by date, and there's no difference in flavor.The packet I'm reviewing arrived on 5/21/21. The use by date on the packets is 10/8/21. This gum is long-lasting, and has a great flavor. I highly recommend it.

You cannot find this gum anymore. It’s too bad because it was the best long lasting gum I ever had. Other people felt the same way because it was always sold out. Don’t know what Dentyne Pure makers were thinking about when they stopped making this product. Please bring it back.

Not a significant problem but was NOT packaged as 10 packs of 9 pieces. We actually received four 3-packs of 9 pieces each. Total of 108 pieces rather than 90 so I'm not complaining.

i got the melon while it was still under $9 and don't know why the price nearly doubled in 2016. in the meantime i will wait till the herbal goes on sale to try it. this gum comes in larger chicklets that are not as minty as the usual dentyne, and chews softer as not to press or stick to dental work. it also does not taste rubbery once the flavor is gone as other dentyne do. i prefer chicklet gum because i can carry it raw in a pocket without wrappers or worrying it's going to melt like paper wrapped sticks. i will update this review once the herbal prices lower and i can better distinguish between the flavors. the melon gum tastes to me like wrigley's juicy fruit with added mint.
