Works Very Well For Dry Fire and Loading Practice
These work very well for dry fire practice and ammunition failure drills. Load and extract like live rounds, causes no issues in my .380 pistols. I would recommend these for anyone wanting or needing dummy rounds for practice

Light And Well-Made
These are very accurate to the original. I like the brightly colored tips for safety reasons, easy to know which is fake and which is live. Great for training and practice. Highly recommended!

Useless. (Well
Useless. (Well, not ENTIRELY, but for the primary purpose.) And also junk. The "primer" portion, which is why most people are buying snap caps/dummy rounds... for prevention of damage to the firing pin during dry firing practice... isn't flush with the bottom end of the casing, flat like an actual primer on an actual cartridge. It's sunken in a good 1/8".In my gun (a Walther PPK/S) it does leave a little dimple in the plastic "primer," so the firing pin does CONTACT it, but it doesn't contact in a realistic fashion, absorbing the full force of the pin strike like a real primer does. This may allow metal on metal contact within the firing mechanism, which is exactly what a snap cap is designed to prevent. That's why I said, "useless," it is literally useless for its primary intended purpose. Not that it "fails" because it's broken or over-used or something, but an actual DESIGN flaw that makes it not do what it's supposed to do, right out of the box, brand new and in originally manufactured condition.Keep in mind, if you're using a more modern gun (do the research on YOUR gun, don't just take my word here... I don't know what you have or how well it's made!) most of them are fine to dry fire without causing any damage to the steel parts. If you trust your gun and dry fire it anyway, this product will be fine as far as design goes, but if it's an older gun, you don't know, or you're just the kind of person (like me) who wants to be SURE and uses snap caps for dry fire practice to protect the gun regardless of what the manufacturer says, this WILL NOT PROTECT YOUR GUN.It may still be useful for other dummy round kinds of uses, like slipping one into a magazine to simulate a misfire, etc.The other problem, however, is that the plastic insert (the "bullet" and "primer," all one piece of solid plastic) that goes into the casing isn't well, or at all, secured. I don't even know how it happened, but I just pulled 5 of these out of my pocket and in one of them that plastic insert had started to come out, making that particular round longer than a standard, real round. I couldn't get it seated back in properly without hitting it with a heavy object, and by the time I got it back to where it should be the edges of the casing had become deformed, fluted out, so that round was now useless (may damage my chamber) and I had to throw it away. There are other products around, like the red aluminum ones with the spring-loaded primer, which aren't much more expensive. (I don't remember the brand, I'm guessing it shows up in searches since this is where I bought my 9mm ones.) I would recommend getting some of those instead, as I plan on ordering myself and as soon as they get here I'll be throwing these in the trash.

Best bang for your buck!
These work perfectly and let you practice trigger pulls without having to dry fire your weapon. I purchased these to help familiarize my wife, mother, and sisters with safe gun handling, and loading and unloading a firearm. They have also been instrumental in the range when instructing people to shoot. It is easy to identify when people are pulling or pushing the weapon and anticipating the shot, just load a couple of these rounds with bullets in the clip so they don't know when the gun will not fire and it will show a lot about a shooter. These are the best price around and they work great.
