Worked as advertized. Brought my old Dell Latitude E7240 back to life.
Replaced the failing SSD in my old Dell Laptop and it works great. Good price also. Reads and writes are definitely a little faster than the original drive. Hope it lasts. It probably will.

Works Great
I bought this ssd to use in a HP ZBook. It is a snap to switch out. I installed a different OS on this one and kept the original OS on the old one. Since these drives are easy to remove and install in my laptop, I can easily change my OS environment by sliding off the back cover, remove one screw, pop out the ssd, slide in the new one, fasten the screw and put the cover back on. Takes less than 5 minutes. The new Kingston ssd performs beautifully. The 256 GB is large enough for my needs, but I still would like to have a larger one. Unfortunately there is a huge jump in price for a 500GB model. All things considered, I am quite pleased with this drive.

Excellent hard drive
Excellent hard drive for upgrading older computers. In my case, the read and write speeds are around 280 Mbps, but the computer's boot time and application launch speeds have improved significantly compared to mechanical drives.

It is way overkill for my pfSense machine, but it works great.

Good price if it worked
It fit my computer but didn’t get recognized on the laptop.

Good for older systems that feature this form of SSD
I picked up some older computers people were tossing. They're right in that time frame when they started putting in this style of SSD, before the M.2 and NVMe style became ubiquitous. While not as fast as the aforementioned, the mSATA drive is very responsive, and makes most machines using them a joy to work with. 256g is not a very large size, essentially you'll want to put just the OS and some key programs on it, maybe some lower end games, and use the spinner drives for archive and long term storage. Kingston always has been a very good brand to go with as far as memory and SSD storage goes.

Well-performing budget hard drive.
The M.SATA drive that came with my NUC one day decided to fail. I was looking for an alternative, although I don't use the PC much, it was nice to have around for testing. This installed quite easily, performed well enough. I've had no issues.

I've never tried these before but I love Kingston products so I think it would be fair to say it would fulfill my needs I just bought a Panasonic Toughpad and it will replace my current msata drive with a fresh install of windows hopefully it will do the trick if it works I'll buy the 512GB msata to upgrade which is only $100. the 256GB which was $50. is just a testing drive since I've never done this on a tablet before. Kinsgton or Western Digital are the best for mSATA/SSD although WD can cost up to $400. from 1TB-4TB regular sata SSD.

Como siempre Kingston, calidad, cargó Windows en minutos, sustituido por otro SSD Kingston de menor capacidad funcionando en mi portátil por más de 10 años sin problemas, súper fiable.
