been using this on my 2.0 2016 3 for a couple years now and i have to say its by far my favorite mod ive done with my car so far. Sounds crazy good throughout the rpm range but sounds especially good when under heavy load at high rpm, alot better tone than the magnaflow or corksport ones, really deep grumbly tone. Not super loud to the point its obnoxious so neighbors should be bothered too much with cold starts. drones a bit at constant highway speeds but nothing unbearable, if you can deal with that you shouldnt buy an aftermarket exhaust anyway. Install was smooth and havnt had any mechanical problems. overall worth every dollar i spent on it.

Installed on a 2016 Mazda 3 2.5L MT. This exhaust absolutely woke up my car and I couldn’t be happier. Drone is minimal unless you step on it. The cold start is rewarding every morning. Cruising down the highway you forget it’s there. Install took me about an hour but would be much faster with 4 hands and an exhaust hanger removal tool. The tips fill out the gaps in the bumper now. I highly recommend this exhaust. See the video for a quick clip of the cold start, but there aren’t any revs.

Fit my 2014 hatchback perfectly completely changed the tone of the exhaust while also mot being extremely loud and annoying to neighbors. Morning start ups sound great and no droning while cruising. Even my wife loves the sound and the quality is great as well! Tip for install use wd40 on the rubber hangers to slide the old exhaust out eaiser and install the new one.

I installed this on a totally stock 2017 Mazda 3. The fit & finish are very nice -- with the exception of the inlet flange: it immediately wants to to bend when just slightly tightening the nuts -- I will probably have to install jam nuts to keep them from falling off or put in a thick gasket to take up the gap between the 2 flanges (they recommend reusing the stock donut -- which leaves a major gap between flanges). When I started it up and drove it -- it sounded perfect, very smooth on this car and not too loud. But just one day later -- it had blown out enough packing to grow to twice as loud. I still like the quality of the sound -- but now I'm looking at installing a glasspack in the mid-pipe before the muffler to tone it down.

I WILL NEVER BUY ANY BORLA PRODUCTS AGAIN! I had the exhaust installed at a reputable shop. The tips do not sit at the same depth, a discrepancy of about two inches. Called tech support and talked to Ryan who said that he had “seen everything” but couldn’t address the issue. Hung up the phone before things became more sarcastic. I’m going with MagnaFlow or Racing Beat next time!

The Exhaust sounds great on my 2015 Mazda3 2.5L! My only complaint is that the instructions are wrong on what size sockets are needed. I used 14mm and 15mm deep sockets for deinstall and install. Regular sockets aren't deep enough and won't work. Other than that, it was pretty straight forward. I recommend watching a YouTube video rather than following the included instructions from the box and from the Borla website.

I now know my exact shift point without even looking at the tac. The factory exhaust was so quiet I didn't know when to shift. I am not a fan of " rice burners" but this exhaust has made my mazda so much funner to drive. The cold start is awesome.

Fit perfectly. Make sure you have factory hardware too.

beside the fact that it didn't fit the first time by putting the clamps only, had to weld the exhaust to the other part but it sound VERY good!!
