Q: Is this suitable for 250gsm card? I want to use this on 500 cards but not sure if will hold up.

It will work with 250gsm card, but it's not a particularly strong punch, so it probably wouldn't last for 500 cards. I think you'd be best getting either an XCut corner punch from Papermania - I've had my small one for many years and it's still going strong, - or perhaps get a corner rounder punch from Hunky Dory. Personally though, if you want a really super-good corner rounder, your best bet would be to get the Corner Chomper from We Are Memory Keepers. You might be able to get it on Amazon, or perhaps from Hobbycraft. It's a bit pricey, but by gum! it's worth it's weight in gold! Not to mention the fact that it will last you forever. Q: How many pieces of paper does this cut at the same time?

It depends on the thickness of the paper. For example if it is 80gsm probably a bunch of pages. If it is 300gsm I wouldn't try to cut more than 1 sheet.

Q: Just purchased this but it isnt cutting at all. Am i doing something wrong?

Make sure when you insert the paper that it is inserted as far as it will go (both edges should be touching the white guides on either side of the cutting section you have chosen). I often hold the cutter up in from of me and put the paper into the required section, then cut. This usually means the paper or card is inserted correctly but means you have to hold it up rather than use on a flat service. Otherwise you may need to contact the seller for a replacement or refund. Hope this helps. Good luck!

Q: I have opened my corner cutter and its not cutting anything... am i missing something?

it's not cutting unless you put a paper corner into it to cut and you need to press the black top. It won't start cutting by itself, it has no batteies.
