The book arrived quickly and in perfect condition. This is a delightful book which shows, at the same time, so much and so little of the iconic Karl Lagerfeld. Wit and wisdom, sassy and deliberate, refreshing and confident; he said he would never write an autobiography...this is quite acceptable in its place. I would have liked to have known/met the man (RIP, Sir), I was late in coming to know his styling and fashion vision; however I am making up for lost time now...

If you are a Karl Lagerfeld fan - as I am and you love his confidence and sometimes snarky comments you will Love this book. It is a book of quotes by the designer - on life, fashion etc. no stories just one to 2 sentence quotes. Lots of laughs if you love him and understand his humor.

An inspiration and genius who gave beauty and spirit to life. This book is a must .His humor and wit mask a heart that the world needs desperately.

Karl is an interesting philosopher! His views on himself, his family (especially Mom) provide real insight to this very talented and unique man. Fun read, although a few pages at a time make is easier to ponder his words. Great little coffee table book.

I really enjoyed reading his "philosophy" and appreciated his sense of humor and personality, which came through loud and clear.

A typical Karl Lagerfeld commentary book. He doesn't mince words or opinions and says what he thinks. I love it and it's very down to earth and funny to boot. I would hightly recommend it. Karl is a character and he is a genius.

I'm glad I own a beautiful copy of this hard cover containing the wit and wisdom of Karl Lagerfeld that few could ever claim to have. It is a book to be read every now and then as his aphorisms may be either simple or need time to process. Karl was a genius of his time, his experience far and wide allowing him to express profound views sometimes wise and other times biting but nearly always true. A real teacher.

There are a few old and not so cool concepts on some of the quotes, but on an overall view it’s a great book. Karl needs to be celebrated.
