Cast Iron Teapot

This is a great teapot - so happy I purchased it. I'm a tea drinker, and when m y ceramic pot broke, I was hesitant to order a different type - having always favored the "English Betty" style tea pot. But I'm goad I went for this one in cast iron. First of all, no drip! It's large enough for several cuos of tea, and the cast iron keeps the tea hot, unlike ceramic pots which cool faster. The handle is sturdy, the infuser basket perfect, and the enamel finish quite beautiful. Highly recommend.

Love this teapot. Solid and sturdy, the fine mesh screen does a great job keeping even the fine dust from the tea out of my drink. The look is great on my stove.

Looks hand made, its cast iron and super sturdy. Could be a family heirloom. Has a strainer so perfect for loose n bag teas. Inside is coated and outside is painted so it should never rust. Cast iron holds heat really well n heats evenly so tea is boiled/ steeped to perfection.

I give it 4 because its very pretty, perfect for tea. The metal infuser didn't last but one use however.

This is perfect for loose teas mainly because the inner strainer weave is small enough as not to leave excess sediment as others. I particularly like the unique design and the wrong the kettle. It would make a nice gift for other tea lovers. Great for 2 cups of fluid more than that will boil over from the spout. Just wish it was a tad bigger.

This kettle is perfect for me. First, the volume is just right to make 4 cups of tea. Second, due to the infuser, it works with loose tea and tea bags (I use both). Third, the infuser goes deep into the kettle so that I it still brews tea if I fill the kettle half full. Fourth, it looks great. Fifth, it holds heat for a long time due to the cast iron construction. Sixth, it is easy to handle when hot. The handle never gets hot and the lid handle is warm, but not too hot to handle. Seventh, the kettle spout pours well. Eighth, it works with an induction stove top. I use the hi/boost setting on the stove and set the timer for 3 minutes. If I go for 4 minutes, the water boils and overflows, so I shut it off at 3 minutes, then allow another 3 minutes for the tea to steep. I don't drink green tea, but I would heat the water for less time for heat sensitive teas. It is cast iron, so I'm sure it would also work with gas or electric stove tops or even a wood stove.

This is a lovely teapot that works so well for brewing and serving my favorite tea. There was a defect with the first teapot shipped to me, so I contacted the company and they immediately sent a replacement. I was so pleased with their customer service.

It made an excellent gift. Great quality and looks great on the stove top. Quite heavy due to the cast iron construction but that’s what you expect. Recommended 👍

I got this product with already rust in it! It is impossible to drink tea from it now, hence it's completely useless!
