It’s a Smart Buy. - Between Jimmy, Carl and Sheen, this is a hilarious cartoon. Jimmy Neutron is a genius who always thinks a little too much and not enough at the same time. Carl is devoted to his llamas and Sheen loves everything Ultra Lord. He even proudly showed his Ultra Lord underpants. Cindy is the smart girl who is frustrated by constantly coming in second place to Jimmy. Every character has his or her quirks. I love Jimmy’s dad who lives for pie and his wooden ducks. He tries hard to have father/son talks with Jimmy regularly, and he usually hilariously struggles through them. I feel a connection with Jimmy’s dad. Jimmy’s mom is a traditional mother who patiently goes through a lot of toasters. However, she is also tough when she needs to be. From school to the malt shop, from the bully to the cool kid, parents, movies, games, toys; just about everything has a cool Jimmy Neutron/Retroville spin. Some of the episodes are full length and these are usually the most fun. Jet Fusion is the Retroville version of James Bond, and turns out to be a spy in real life too. Jimmy is called to help him out in a great adventure. The Egg-pire Strikes Back is great fun with yolk like aliens, Beach Party Mummy takes the boys with Cindy and Libby on an adventure where they find a pyramid. The Phantom of Retroland is one of the funniest and I also like Raise the Oozy Scab. That’s a submarine, by the way. I counted 55 episodes, plus 3 Jimmy/Timmy Power Hour crossover specials and the pilot episode. Watching now, the animation shows it’s age. It isn’t bad, but it would likely be better today. I love Rocky and Bullwinkle, so I don’t just watch a cartoon for the animation. I love the characters, the stories and the jokes. I’m a person who loves to laugh and smile, and Jimmy Neutron makes me laugh! With the secret lab, the robot dog, good friends and exciting adventures, this is something that a kid should love. It’s also clever and smart enough that a parent or other adult will enjoy it too. This is one of the great cartoons. Jimmy Neutron is in the same nonstop laughter league as Pinky and the Brain, Looney Tunes, The Penguins of Madagascar, Rocky and Bullwinkle, and Shaun the Sheep. Okay, I admit that I love SpongeBob and Scooby Doo, although I’m not sure those are considered classics. I may have even forgotten a few other greats. A blast from the past.
I enjoyed “Jimmy Neutron” when it used to air on Nickelodeon. I enjoyed his crazy antics. When I saw this box set on Amazon, I decided to get it on Black Friday. It’ll be fun to watch it again. I’m sorry it’s not available on Blu Ray.

It's a great show, but the only problems I have is the first disk won't even play at all, the inside is also damaged, and the disks won't stay in place when you put them back inside their case.

I first watched the show in 2012 when I was about 6 or 7 years old, expecially the move. And I'm glad to recieve this DVD boxset. It's just such a shame this boxset won't get a UK release, so it's good to have the US release available with the 3 seasons, the pilot and the jimmy timmy power hour crossovers which are my favourites. Although sadly when I recieved the package, it all got slightly cracked so I changed it for a new case and managed to watch all the episodes as Jimmy Neutron is one of my favourite Nickelodeon shows.
