Engineering Mechanics: Statics, Student Value Edition 14th Edition

I took the course at Tulane in 1982 for Biomedical Enr, and i am such a science geek I want to read it again!!! and use it in real life which is very common. Saved a lot with the loose unbound sheets and just put them in a 3 ring binder. Nice full color pictures and some text. Put the glossy front and back covers inside the front and back outside pockets. Looks very cool now! Bought the matching Dynamics book also.

I really appreciate this book. I would say for the most part it is to the point and there isn’t too much verbal garbage getting in the way of the major concepts. And do you like examples and practice problems? Oh my word, there are so many! Also, I love the size of the hardback. My classmates have the loose leaf of this same book, it only has two holes. I couldn’t live with just two holes in a book I might need to reference for years.

It’s a great book. I was not expecting mine to only have two punched holes. So when it sits upwards in my binder, it’s bottom heavy. This leads to some of the pages leaning forward and ripping out. The paper is also super thin, so be careful with it.

The book came in a good condition. It included a wide arrange of examples from simple concept problems to complex problems that test your understanding of the material. Don't expect the book to come with the code since it is a rental. Some of the problems have answers in the back of the book which is good to check your answers.

The exercises are very well explained and the book follows a logical order in the chapters explained. The exercises and samples in metric values are very helpful for European students and professors.

The book provides ample examples and excellent instructions to solving end of chapter problems.​
