Great box! Nice closure that holds tight but isn’t too hard to open. The hammock-y think on the lid is surprisingly useful for tiny things that might bounce around if loose.

Got this box for an outdoors electronics project and can't bring myself to hack into it. It's just too nice. This thing is heavy, solid, and well engineered to take daily abuse. The lock feature is great and works well. Not high security, but gets the job done with no metal parts inside to worry about if it gets wet. Has a small vent hole and o-ring integrated with the latch to equalize pressure as you open it so the suction won't make it hard to open. The silicone liner is well designed and high quality too, it has shock absorption built in with an egg crate style bottom, and corrugated sides. The top of the liner also acts as the gasket seal. The basket in the lid is perfect as well and doubles as shock protection so there's 360 degree coverage. Hinges are beefy and the latch is very solid without using metal hinge pins. The latch has a nice click to it and compresses the watertight gasket without having to fight it open or closed. Someone paid a lot of attention to the little details while getting the main parts just right. You can't beat it for the price.

I've used this box to keep my phone, external battery packs, and wallet dry throughout extended outdoor expeditions. It is not huge inside but you can easily fit an iphone and an external charger in it with your ID or any essential cars. What it lacks in space it more thank makes up for with it's shock/water resistance. I've been out for two weeks at a time in the pouring rain and my phone was in the box, and I had 0 issues with humidity or wetness. I think this is a good piece of gear, and couldn't recommend it more.

I purchased this to keep box of contacts, covid mask, glasses, phone, and cash dry while on boat trips for scuba diving. I like the interior layout of the box, and the rubber padding and mesh net were handy for keeping things secured. Nothing in the box ever got wet. The 'lock' on the box is laughable. There is no pin/tumbler mechanism, it's simply a dial that you can turn with anything you can get leverage with. The key is just a piece of plastic that plugs into the exterior holes on the dial. I was able to easily 'unlock' the box with the plastic toothpick from my pocket knife. I immediately threw the 'key' in the trash. The dial secures the hinge from opening even if you don't 'lock' it, but became very difficult to turn by hand after just a few uses (and possibly from the exposure to salt water), so I stopped even doing that and just closed the hinge. It didn't ever pop open on me unexpectedly but this will be a concern as the box gets more use. I'd say it's a decent product but needs some redesign. Get rid of the useless 'lock' and put a different type of dial opener on it, one that would give you some leverage with your fingers, and it would be a much better product.

Does what it says it will do. Very durable as well. Does not leak as of right now. Would buy again.

Good little box. Took it backpacking and on a sea kayak trip. Going to end up staying in the camping box for sure.

The lock is a bit tight (which is good cause you dont want water in it) it does come with keys to help with that. Its only a small problem for me cause I have longer nails. Other than that, it fits in my kayak pouch perfectly and has been wonderful.
