This was the first time I've ever purchased something like this for travel and it definitely made the drive so much easier with the fact that there was a flat surface to put food on while we were traveling. It moves in any direction and fits securely to all different sizes of cup holders!

These are great. I bought them as Christmas gifts for all family members.

If the expanders could be placed in a way that snapped on so that it could sit more snug in the cup holderit would be better. The tray can expand enough to hold a burger but no space for fries. The tray is small but it would topple if it was bigger. I like it but it would be better if it was more snug in the cup holder east to put together except for the expanders

Cheap, would not stay together, not strong enough to hold a drink. Don’t waste your money. Have as a gift, too late to return, can’t get a refund, highly disappointed. Negative stars for me

I had nowhere to put down a burger or fries to munch on while driving in my new smaller car, even putting it in the passenger side bucket seat was dangerous to be reaching for in traffic. This item got the job done the way I expected the engineering to be. It needed the 3 included spacers to expand tightly into the cupholder, very satisfied with how that worked, just grab tight and twist-tighten it as well as you can. Folks who say it tips over must not have done that. Or they didn't push the tray on hard enough to the tray arm, it must snap on , really needs a strong pressing down. When the insert and all joints are tight, and my positioning is off toward the passenger side, it will hold the weight of a burger and fries easily, folks who say it's too small are forgetting to slide the tray open to the larger size, I never need to. The phone holder is just a couple of rigid claws on one side, my phone has rubber armor over it, too thick to fit in the claws. I don't watch movies driving at 70 mph anyway. Overall satisfied with it, recommend it for the way I use it. Try to put a cup of soda on it, it'll spill over, it's not made for that.

Took a minute to figure out how it goes together, but wasn’t too difficult. Didn’t realize the tray slides open. That’s handy. The base adjusts to the cup holder by turning the top of the base. Bought this for my husband. He made a snide remark when he saw it, but has used it every time he is in the car. The strength is about what I would expect from something made of plastic. It holds a burger and fries just fine, but a medium drink is a bit heavy for it.

Easy to install and adjust to height needed, don’t need while driving but at stop signs and lights, winner!
