Pumice Stone Grill Block for Cleaning Grills or Griddles (2 Pack)

Did you ever clean our grill with a wire brush and find a strand of wire on your food after? Luckily I haven't but I've seen wires break off and caught them before I put the food on. Then I saw a "creatures inside me" episode where a kid almost died from getting a grill brush wire stuck in his throat. Later in the show, the dad was cleaning the grill with a pumice stone. I didn't even know that was a thing but I do now and a pumice stone is all I'll use. This stone arrived yesterday and even one use along the grilling surface has removed way more crud than the brush ever did. My recommendation is that you should get this and throw away your wire brush.

I purchased this to clean my grill without the danger of consuming wire pieces in my meal. It does work, and works better if the grates are slightly warm (not at all hot). However, be prepared for the 'dust' particles it leaves behind. Not difficult to get rid of...I just wiped with a damp paper towel...but one more step to go through. The safety issue is the largest one for me and this product performs. I only gave it a four star rating because it is an item that will need replacing over time.

Recently, I watched an episode of "Monsters Inside of Me" which showed a person that had swallowed a piece of metal from a grill cleaner brush. The person almost died as the piece of metal was caught in his intestines. After his surgery, the person suggested pumice stone grill cleaners. I immediately went to Amazon to order pumice stone grill cleaners. I have discarded my steel brush and will use only the pumice stone.BTW: The pumice stone actually does an excellent job of cleaning the grill. I highly recommend that you try it. Who knows? It could save a life.

Not exactly what I imagined but was able to use where i could on a grill with 2 burner plates. It took all 4 pumice stones to clean both iron plates. I thought the stone powder from sanding was a bit much, but again it did the job. Don't think I'll be buying these again, will look for another way to get them clean.

Super disappointed. I ordered these for my giant commercial sized restaurant kitchen and they are so small it’s comical to put them in a CHILDS PLAY KITCHEN. Please tell your customers the size of your items before ripping them off. Three inches (if that) literally helps no one.

Pumice is not my life, no, but it sure makes my life a little easier by cleaning my griddle beautifully. These bricks work like a charm and they are a nice size for cleaning a relatively large area at a time. I find that using the brick right after wiping the griddle with a sponge when it is still quite warm to the touch, and the brick is wet works best. The pumice is quite crumbly and leaves it's grit behind but all that gets wiped away with a clean sponge afterwards. Griddle looks great, cooks great.

This pumice stone works like a charm to clean greasy, sticky, baked on food residue on my griddle. I just add some olive oil onto the griddle as it is cooling down, and use the stone to gently scrape the residue off. I use a plain paper towel to wipe the griddle clean. Voila! Cleaned and seasoned griddle, ready for the next use!Great tool, easily worth the money!
