For looks and elegance I would rate this teapot as five stars. For practical use, I would be forced to rate it one star as the teapot is so very fragile! The slightest knock on a hard granite surface and the thin glass smashes - as did ours. In summary, a very pretty pot that cannot easily withstand the rigours of day to day use.

The teapot itself is good and makes a nice cup of tea, pours well without drips. Unfortunately the lid is very loose with no means of securing and within days had fallen off and broke. I emailed Creano but have so far received no response. The pot is still useable but I'm now looking for a replacement.

Diese Kanne ist ein echter Hingucker, hat aber 2 Nachteile. Ich hatte sie wegen des Nachtropfschutzes bestellt. Dem ist aber nicht so. Wenn man nach dem Einschenken die Kanne zurückstellen will, rinnen 1 oder 2 Tropfen nach - das ist ärgerlich. Außerdem muss man den Glasverschlussdeckel festhalten, sonst fällt er von der Kanne. Dies ist uns schon einmal passiert. Hier müsste man nachbessern. Wen das nicht stört, ist mit der Teekanne gut bedient, zumal sie ein sehr gutes Metallsieb hat, das auch beim Ausgießen nicht herausfällt.
