ISURE MARINE Stainless Steel Bruce Style Claw Force Boat Anchor 16.5lbs(7.5kg)Marine Grade Stainless Steel 316, Highly Polished Corrosion and rust resistant - for a long service lifeClaw anchors are the preferred anchor choice for coastal and beyond the breakers kayak fishermenExcellent holding power in nearly all bottom conditions including mud, sand, rock and coral.Stainless Steel Claw anchors are constructed from highly polished 316 stainless steel and have been trusted by boaters for years. It is modeled after and shares the features of the original Bruce anchor. The curved wingtips ensure that the anchor rolls to its optimum orientation when setting or resetting. The anchor maintains high holding power, even through 360 degrees of boat movement. The Claw anchor works well for bottom conditions where many anchors do not, such as rocks and coral. The anchor's three strong points let it grab easily, and with no movable parts, there is less risk of bending or jamming. The anchor is easily broken out for hauling, and includes a trip line hole for extra haul assistance if required. It is very compact, requires no stock, and stows easily in a bow roller or locker. Review: I had a 10kg galvanized anchor which was proving just too heavy to remove from the bow roller when using the buoy mooring so went for this 7.5 suitable for my 26’ motor boat . It certainly has transformed the look of the foredeck . Great quality and quick delivery . Review: Just replaced my old Bruce 45lbs with this new CLONE.....I like this better as it has longer side flukes which come more to a point...the shank is longer making for more leverage from the chain on the ground to keep the nose biting in.....the flukes on the sides are longer and a lil less roll to them..so I'm thinking it will hold quite well as the boat swings about the anchor trying to tip the anchor from one side to the other......300' of 3/8ths chain helps too...the more scope the more holding power as the boat pulls at the chain laying on the bottom before actually pulling on the anchor....my 40 yrs on the water and cruising tells me this will probably be a great anchor and didn't bust the bank!...lol...I'd buy another anytime!!.............

I use this anchor on my Catamaran 35ft houseboat. Once I learned how to set it I was impressed with it's holding capabilities. Just for a tip.. once you drop it in the water pay out about 30ft of rope from where the anchor hit bottom. I'll pull by hand to set the anchor, put the boat in reverse to ensure it's set good, then shorten up to whatever length I need. When I get ready to pull the anchor if there's any trouble getting it up I simply tie it off and use the boat power (very easily) to pull the anchor in the opposite direction I set it and it pops up every time. I've been in up to 20 mph winds with another 22ft pontoon boat tied to my starboard side and no issues holding. Anchor is perfect for my needs!

Looks great. Highly polished and was a near perfect replacement for my lost OEM anchor. One observation: the wings on the anchor are a bit thin and almost sharp. I haven’t used it yet, but if you are using on a rocky bottom, I could see these breaking off. Time will tell how corrosion resistant this SS is. I’m using in a salt water environment. I waxed the anchor before installing

You get what you pay for,...this thing isn't stainless it's chrome plated or something, does hold and set well but I've hardly got it paid off and after a about 8 months there are several areas that are chipped/ corroded and rusting....and it's only ever been down in sand....still good for the money but it isn't gonna stay nice looking for long
