I bought them for myself and I’m a man. These are seriously some great clubs, they are advertised as “unisex” and honestly maybe the best clubs I’ve ever owned. You can always return them to Amazon if your not happy with them. I think you’ll be glad you bought them. I know I am.

For someone who has played 1-3 x per year and wants to start playing more.....the edge set or save some money and get the strata

I’d go with the Callaway edge!! I just started golfing in April and was using a used set of strata (both made by Callaway) the Edge clubs are far superior in my opinion. Good luck on the course! Enjoy!

Would these clubs work for someone 5'4"?

These are standard height so they might be a little long at 5' 4". However having them cut isn't expensive and personally I think the set is worth it.

Is this why they're never "in-stock" at Costco?

I also got my set directly from Costco for $499. You just have to watch for it - it sold out in a few hours.
