Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 - Xbox One Standard Edition

This is much better than even the recent Final Fantasy games like Final Fantasy 13 and Final Fantasy Type-0 in terms of content. The non-linear exploration is awesome, but more than that the variety of quests you can do took me by surprise. There is actually large boss type enemies who you can challenge to duels to win better equipment from later in the game. There are several different quest types, such as escort where you escort different people to safety. Time Attack, where you have to destroy all opponents within a certain time limit. Time Patroller quests, where you need to seek out and locate hidden items and defeat enemies. And there's even Battle Royale type quests which require you to fulfill exact requirements during fights. Aside from that, you can even win Dragonballs from competing in tournaments or killing off masters which was quite awesome to see. The mystery quests are a nice touch once you get good at the combat as well, though I would have loved more. Truly this is likely the best Dragonball Z game I have played from the series. If you only have money for one, I certainly recommend picking this up over Type-0. Yet be sure to buy Final Fantasy Type-0 later on since the game is worth your time. Overall I give Xenoverse 2 5 stars. Would have liked a few more missions.

The best dragon ball game

This is such an amazing game. I loved watching Dragon Ball Z and I'm happy to see some Dragon Ball Super stuff in this game, too. I'm happy I bought this, I definitely recommend this game! It's similar to like an open world, but it's a hub world; it's also listed as an MMO. It's a very neat to see other players online in the same hub as you; they have their own characters, and a lot of their characters are very unique looking and creative! Even if it's a hub world, it's super fun and I already spent countless hours on it! There's tons of stuff to do with your character, and leveling up your character is super fun! There's a lot of characters from the anime that are in here; Beerus, Whis, and Goku Black are some of my favorites. Whoever is hesitating to get this game, go for it!

This game is amazing. First of all anyone who has followed DBZ since the beginning whether it be the original runs or the re-runs in the 90s will LOVE this game. Xenoverse and Xenoverse 2 are DBZ games that are the most unique of their kind because for once this is not just a DBZ game where you fight...This game enables you to create your own character from different classes (Majin, Frieza Race, Human or Sayain) and it allows you to use different moves from all the different characters throughout the Dragon Ball story. This is the first REAL Roleplaying game for the DBZ game series and Xenoverse 2 is the absolute best. Great gameplay through story mode and plenty of content and other battles through training and parallel quests (which is story mode style but not quite story mode) AND the online play is amazing. I definitely recommend this!

Is a good game. But not exactly what I was expecting from a Dragon Ball game since Budokai Tenkaichi series. I remember that the music from the tenkaichi series were more emersive for a fighting game and on this one and on this one it just barely follows. Other than that is a good game.

This is a must have for video game and DBZ lovers alike. Excellent combat system that’s easy enough to pick up, but provides enough depth that button mashing won’t get you very far. Love the art style and the customization. Going through training actually serves its purpose and provides deeper content instead of being busy work for filler content. One thing that was a bit disappointing was the local multiplayer. Going head to head with friends is fun, but gets a bit repetitive after some time, especially if you’re friends haven’t played before. Over all, fantastic game and a must have for any DBZ fan.

I played the first Xenoverse and had very high expectations, but was sorely let down. I was skeptical of Xenoverse 2 when it came out, but after reading the reviews, I decided to buy and could not be happier. Bandai really made a comeback with this one. If you played Budokai Tenkaichi 3, then youll love this game. I would say it is comparable, and possibly better. With the added characters and their different versions, as well as an upgrade to transformations and tons of new attacks, this is by far the best Dragon Ball game to come out for our recent consoles. If you're hesitant, forget it. Just buy it. You'll see for yourself.
