Awesome bag for the commuter needing lots of capacity
I needed a good backpack to haul my work laptop and workout clothes (including showering supplies) for the days I go for runs on my lunch break. I previously had a North Face Pivoter with a strap that broke after a month or two of use, and was taking forever to come back from getting repaired under their warranty. I liked that backpack well enough, but the organization was lacking a bit for my needs, so I decided to order a different backpack in the meantime. My primary requirement for a backpack was a separate laptop compartment, since I didn't want to store my laptop in the same space as my sweaty running clothes. After much research, I decided to try an Osprey pack, since they seem to have a reputation for high quality bags.Pros:-Very roomy main compartment. I can fit a pair of running shoes (Women's 9.5), a pair of sandals, running clothes, shower accessories/makeup, and a regular sized cotton bath towel in it. I recently got a more portable microfiber towel, which gives me even more space. For a recent weekend trip I was able to fit a medium sized packing cube (containing running shirt/shorts, a set of pajamas, a light sweater, 2 tops, 2 pairs of socks, and underwear), sandals, and a sweatshirt in the main compartment, plus everything else I needed - chargers, toiletries, etc. - in other pockets throughout the bag.-POCKETS. I love having a key loop for my car keys in a spot I can easily reach. There's a top pocket for sunglasses, where I also keep my small wallet/bus pass. The awesome front organizer has all sorts of little spots where you can put lip balm, mints, hand sanitizer, earbuds, or whatever else you need throughout your day.-Kickstand - it might be a somewhat gimmicky feature, since a lot of packed out backpacks will reasonably stand on their own, but I do really like not having to worry about my bag falling over onto a grimy floor. As others have mentioned, it won't stand up as well when it's totally empty, but once you load a couple things in there it stands just fine. The frame and kickstand also provide enough shape to make it easier to rummage around in the main compartment.-Mesh back panel is very comfortable against my back. I think it helps generate a tiny bit of airflow, but depending on how much is in the pack and how you wear it, you may not notice a massive difference.-Women's specific fit - this was another item I really wanted in a backpack, because I have narrow shoulders. I feel like I could wear this pack fully loaded for hours on end. The straps are well padded and contoured, and the load lifters make a difference for sure.Cons:-It's definitely a larger backpack - it feels a little oversized if I have it sitting on my lap on the bus. You could probably get it under the seat on a larger plane, but smaller regional flights might be tougher, especially if it's packed completely full. I'm sure it would fit in the overhead no problem.-The frame might not fit everyone. It fits me perfectly - I'm 5'5", but have a longer torso.-I wound up removing the hip belt for daily use, since the straps just got in the way for me when commuting. It's not very substantial, but would provide a little extra support if you were hiking or biking with it.-The compression straps on the bottom cover up the water bottle holdersOverall, the quality of this bag is fantastic - the materials feel really burly. It's a nearly perfect commuter backpack if you need to carry a laptop and a lot of other items to get you through your day. For my purposes, I love the kickstand feature, despite the bulk that it adds to the bag. If the kickstand isn't as necessary and you wanted something to use as a carry-on bag, I'd opt for the Nova instead - it has a little more capacity and can squish down more since it's frameless.

Amazing backpack, gorgeous color, so worth it
I wanted a backpack that I could use during travel but also would double nicely as a diaper bag. I absolutely love the organization in the Talia; the pockets ensure that I keep everything well-organized. When I'm on the go, I have room for my stuff (laptop, tablet, planner, etc.) and baby's as well. And the fact that there are multiple large zippered pockets means that I'm not accidentally pulling out a diaper when I need to get my wallet; I can keep all my stuff separate from the baby's. The kickstand technology is what really makes this worth it, though. When I'm at a coffee shop, I can put this standing upright on the ground, and it stays put. But it also fits nicely underneath a stroller or under a plane seat. I can't recommend this backpack (did I mention it's comfortable to carry, and it's so nice to keep your hands free when you're dealing with a baby??) highly enough.

Absolutely love Osprey
I have become a recent Osprey convert and this is my second Osprey bag besides my Kyte 36. This bag is gorgeous, durable and fits all my field guides and books all while fitting comfortably on my back and shoulders. The backmesh is the best feature a backpack could have preventing sweat and that sticky feeling when you’re hiking. As someone who spends a ton of time outdoors on hikes and trails, this pack is great for when I’m birding or headed downtown. Love the laptop sleeve, as it is a bit more padded then my other backpack and overall the backpack just looks good. It doesn’t have your typical deep pocket that most backpacks have, so I can’t imagine you could fit several sets of clothing in it but it will fit several books, folders and notebooks, a laptop, tablet and the usual wallet, keys and phone. Will be getting a ton of use out of me.

Three Stars
The backpack is nice however it’s a little more bulky and uncomfortable due to the kickstand feature.

Great color. Nice pack for commuting.
I bought this to carry a lot of gear but found it does not hold enough for me. the pack is comfortable and probably ok for basic office stuff and commuting but i was surprised that it didnt pack as much as i thought it would given the specs. The Momentum 32 is larger with much more room.

Large, comfortable backpack with neat kickstand feature. Could have slightly better organization.
I am a backpack fiend and especially love backpacks with good organization and comfort. My favorite for organization is the Camelbak Urban Assault XL from 2016, but it's not the most comfortable on me because it's built for a man's frame, and I'm relatively petite. For comfort, I like the Kelty Redwing 40W, but it's better for hiking and not air travel with a laptop, so I'm still hunting for the perfect travel backpack. I bought the Osprey Nova and Talia to try, and here are the pros and cons for the Talia.Pros:- I was intrigued by the kickstand feature, and I like it! If it's super empty, it can still fall over, but generally, it's a pretty neat feature.- The chest strap goes high enough, unlike with the Nova.- The laptop compartment allows for easy access when going through security.- The organization is decent (not perfect).- The suspended mesh back panel is comfy without taking away too much space.Cons- I wish the cinching straps went under the water bottle pouch instead of over it (like the Kelty Redwing 40W). Also wish the pocket had more tension because water bottles fall out if you bend over. Actually, I wish it had a long zippered external pouch on the sides like the Camelbak Urban Assault XL and the Kelty Redwing.- I wish it had a thinner carrying handle at the back to make it easier to hang on a bathroom stall.- I wish it had a pocket in the top front of the main compartment like the Nova does.- I'm not too keen on the front panel pocket and how it has Velcro on top instead of being permanently secured.I'm still getting used to the organization of this backpack, but I love how comfortable it is and the kickstand feature. I haven't traveled with it yet but will update if I notice any other pros and cons.
