Dexas Popware for Pets Grip Mat for Pet Bowl, 13 by 19-Inch, Green

Just what I needed to keep my little dogs from dripping water all over the kitchen. There's sufficient room for two food dishes and one large water dish for my two. So if you only have one little dog or one big dog, it should be fine. No leaking and it does stay in place on the floor where I put it. I placed the water dish toward the back of the mat so that water dripping from their little mouths would hit the mat before it hit the floor. It works well. Surprisingly, the color is very close to what appears on the screen. I got green and I saw it available in purple also.

For the last several months, I have enjoyed this purchase immensely. I must admit that I don't use it as a grip mat for my cat's pet bowl - I use the mat underneath his litter box and the mat really "grips" well! To the extent that on occasion I have to actually left the mat off of the floor.This is an ideal situation since my cat has a tendency to lift the mat while he is cleaning around and outside of his litter box (it won't budge).Also, I would like to add that I clean the mat daily and this probably maintains the products successful performance.

+ Quality material- Not wide enough to fit the elevated set.I paired this with the Dexas Popware Adjustable/Elevated Feeder set. I have a Chocolate Lab puppy and thought this would be great to have as she grew. Unfortunately, the bowl set barely fits the width of this mat and therefore, doesn't provide much "spill covereage" on the sides. I wish Dexas made this mat in a larger size so it can be better suited for their larger bowl set.

This rubber mat is great for our cats who were pushing their food bowls around on their old placemat. They were leaving food all around their bowls in the process. This has cut down on the mess and kept their bowls in one place. I didn't think too much about it either, but there doesn't seem to be any odor as one of my cats is very picky about smells and it would have put her off her food.

we have tried a few different placemats for our dogs (2 dachshunds), these are the best we've found. our dogs, especially the puppy, are sloppy drinkers & it's nice to be able to pick up the mat & dump the spilled water into the sink instead of having to mop up water from all over the floor. we like the color - not too bright, but not too dull either. i think they are great. they work well for us.

I purchased this mat to replace our old and moldy (gross, I know) kitchen mat. This mat, for the most part, keeps the bowls in their place and catches any food or water that lands immediately adjacent to the bowls. I like that I can just spray it down to clean it. I just wished it was a little bit bigger since one of our dogs is a messy eater and drinker. That is just a minor complaint and probably more of a personal problem. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

This does help keep my dog's bowl in place, but he still pushes it around until it is off the mat or until he can dump the food out. The food bowl is "anti-skid" and has rubber edges, so it sticks to the mat well. For some reason my dog hates eating from anything but the floor (flat plates don't even please him). It does work to hold the food in place if I just dump the food directly on it. If your dog has a problem eating from their bowl just because it slides around, this will help you. If your dog hates eating from a bowl and dumps the food out on purpose, this probably won't help too much.

We have dog like cats. Our black cat, Bugheera, insists on dragging the mat, with his teeth, into the middle of the kitchen floor, rumpling the mat, spilling both food and water. Our other cat, SJ, for whom we bought the mat because of, gives us no problems at all. Go figure. Sigh...cats! But overall, good product and fast delivery.

Totally excellent mat - the bset I have come across so far. It collects all of the water my dog sloshed out. When you pour the water away it just rolls off & you don't even have to wipe. Buy one now !!!
