be quiet! MC1 M.2 SSD Cooler Heatsink for Single and Double Sided 2280 modules | BZ002

I installed this on my secondary NVME since my primary had a heatsink that was part of my motherboard. Before installing this heatsink, I would routinely see 10-15C deltas from the primary drive (with heatsink) to this drive (without heatsink). After installation, its dropped at least 10C off my idle temps, and roughly 10-15C off loaded temperatures. Now temps are right in line for both drives. If you want to prolong the life of your NVME, I highly suggest getting a heat sink.The BeQuiet unit her was a breeze to install, and was happy it came with its own thermal pads and a screwdriver for installation.100% would buy again, and I should have bought this sooner.

Installation was really easy, I hadn't gone inside a computer in 3 years and it always makes me nervous anyways as I have somewhat large hands. Before completely sticking the thermal pads to my SSD, I made sure it fit snuggly in my Rog Ally x handheld with the SSD (these have a bit more space - I wouldn't try it in an older Rog Ally version).It fit perfectly well without hitting the motherboard, and without crushing the battery cables. My SSD now runs 10-15 degrees cooler (Celsius). This isn't actually necessary according to the handheld manufacturer, but for the price it's good peace of mind.Highly recommended.

Purchased for my wife's PC she wanted more storage and the motherboard did not come with a second heat sink. Was worried that it would not fit behind the graphics card but has PLEANTY of room. Fits behind her 5700XT without a problem. I don't have numbers on the temps just know from other reviews it will be better than not having anything. So highly recommend this purchase!

The price and quality were good

picked up two WD_BLACK SN850X one with a heatsink and one without and saw the none heatsink was running really hot so I did some digging to see what was some of the best options. This was one of them and with a little use of a tiny screw driver had this assembled onto the M.2 and installed back into my rig and now it runs even cooler then the one that came with the heatsink.

I saw a review about bricking their ssd and another about it being too high. So I bought this on a whim because I needed a heatsink for my secondary drive and I can say this works as intended.The design on this heatsink is pretty slim and was able to fit under my gpu (7800xt) on a mATX board. Other reviewers mentioned tiny screws.. Yes they are pretty small BUT to avoid searching for tiny screws in your case just assemble the heatsink in a controlled area in case you drop a screw then install it on the mb. Another thing, the heatsink does not include a m.2 screw those 4 screws are for the heat sink assembly (2 on each side) .
