Well made! Many candle holders have such a small space to accommodate a taper, but this one fits taper candles perfectly!

Large Candles Don't Fit
I have hand made candles that are about 1/2 inch at the base and thought they would fit in this holder based on the description given. They are bigger than the opening so that was disappointing. However all other candles fit nicely. A touch over priced to me but very cute and different. Heavy ceramic is fine with me.
