Perfect fit on my Big Bear.

I am not convinced this is an official Yamaha part but it works and fits perfectly on my 1997 Yamaha Kodiak 400. I read other reviews that stated the gauge didnt really work all that well with lower fuel levels. As a result I took it out of the box and examined it closely. The float was all the way at the bottom (empty position). I turned the gauge upside down and the float didn’t move all that well or far. I gently slid the float up and down a few times and it freed it right up. Maybe they put something on the float to keep it from moving and getting damaged during shipping? Either way it was a cinch to install and the gauge accuracy is absolutely spot on. Now the only question is how long will it hold up? Only time will tell but even if it only lasts a few years its worth it. What else can you do to your atv for $15 these days? Definitely recommend.

Grat fit, works like factory guage

As a replacement fuel gauge it was easy to install. Measures accurately but after one day the inside of the lens had condensation. Still there after several weeks.

excellent fit for old and faded unit 2001 Kidiak 400

This was a fuel gauge I bought from Amazon, for my 2001 Yamaha Grizzly 600 ATV. Its the correct part, the description was accurate, however since Ive installed this replaced once already gas gauge, the replacement wasn't fuel resistant and fell apart! All the parts accept for the dial mounted on the outside of the gas tank, melted out of their mounting, and have fallen into my gas tank, and I now have to fish them out! Why would they make a fuel gauge with plastics not resistant to fuel?! Ill send pictures of this soon. Im not at all happy with this having to replace the fuel gauge for a 3rd time! Id like a refund please. Its obvious Ill have to go with an OEM part for this now

Easy to install but somehow it ended up being foggy right away, it was very hot and humid when I installed it though.

Just got it and put it in my 96 Yamaha Kodiak 400, super simple install. Product looks and feels excellent, clear part of the guage feels like hard plastic, seems good for the price. Will update in the future if I have issues.
