Stylish, Adjustable & Stays Put!
I bought this metal band for my 13-year-old’s Fitbit and it’s been working great. It adjusts easily to her smaller wrist, feels comfortable all day, and still looks sleek and stylish. The clasp is secure, the finish holds up well, and it gives the watch a more polished look without sacrificing comfort. A great replacement band that works perfectly for both adults and kids!

Great idea, but ...
I bought this stainless steel wristband to replace my previous "magnetically latching" wristband for my Versa 2, because the magnetic clasp routinely attaches itself to other magnetic objects when working around the shop, and although it was VERY easy to readjust (almost too easy), it was a nuisance to have to mess with it, sometimes several times per day. I thought this nonmagnetic band was a great idea and would solve the daily frustration of the magnetic clasp. The trouble is these metal mesh bands can't be twisted/stretched enough to "reverse" them, once they're on the Versa 2. Therefore the instructions need to make it very clear that BEFORE worrying about adjusting the length, install the band onto the Versa 2 in EXACTLY the way it will ride on your wrist. (In other words, as if your wrist is through the band, you want the watch facing outwards from the loop, not inwards facing the inside of the loop.) Also make sure the face is oriented so you can read it right-side-up. The first time I installed the new band and put it on my wrist oriented the way I like to read it, I found that I'd attached the free "clasp" end of the new band to the wrong "end" of the watch, so I had to disconnect it from the watch and switch it end for end. Note that some people prefer to wear a watch on the inside of their wrist so they read it palm towards them. Other people prefer to wear a watch on the outside of their wrist, reading it palm-away. Either way is fine, just think it through carefully and install the band onto the watch BEFORE trying to adjust the length, picturing how it will be when you're wearing it! Due to the rigidity of the mesh band it is quite awkward to actually install it with those little springy pins (fortunately they shipped it with three pins in case you lose one as it springs away from you)! If you adjust the length first, you'll very likely find that you've inadvertently shifted the clasp during the installation, and you'll have to adjust it again anyway. I also discovered that even after you've adjusted the length per the instructions, it is still possible to tweak the position of the fixed clasp very slightly (by working it one mesh link at a time) without actually loosening it. Since it's basically impossible to adjust the length while wearing it, and it's virtually impossible to know exactly where you'll need the fixed clasp to end up when it's NOT on your wrist, it's a trial and error process to set the length, put it on, test the fit, then take it back off and readjust or tweak the position until you've got it just where you want it. I think I'm really going to like it, once the aggravation of the installation and adjustment process is a few days behind me! 😊

Bond Discoloration
I purchased this band in May this year. I like the band very much. It works well. It’s easy to adjust the size and easy to put on and off. No issues having come undone or my watch falling off during the day with all of my activities. My only disappointment is the discoloration of the band and clasp on this metal band. Other than that, it’s a keeper, just need to keep in mind that it may need to replace it every few months, if the discoloration is a sore point for you.

barely lasted 6 months
This band took some getting used to the clasp at first, it never felt fully comfortable for me, like the locking-in mechanism wasn't totally aligned in the clasp? I just hit the 6-month mark of having this band and have to replace it. First, it got filthy and was really hard to clean, so it just looks so dingy and gross now. Second, and most importantly, it gets bent so easily. I'm kind of hard on my watch bands, but any time I'd bumped into a hard surface, it ran the risk of damaging the metal links on the outside of the band. It started happening so much recently that those links broke open, leaving sharp little wire edges that would get caught on everything and even cut into my wrist skin. When I went to remove the band to put on a new replacement, the little pins that adhere the band to my fitbit face were broken, so I had to find a creative way to pop the band off. Overall, totally unimpressed. It looks nice for the first few months, but then breaks down way too easily. Put your money toward a more reliable, longer-term solution.

Cute..but SNAGS ALL CLOTHING!
I was looking for something more “upscale” to dress up my watch. However, only a couple months after I’ve been wearing it, the outer links are slowly pulling apart and snagging on EVERY item of clothing I wear and creating seam rips, tears and pulls. (I even hugged someone, it got stuck in their clothing and left a big string and tear). I was very excited at first because I love the look. But it’s just not worth it anymore since it’s ruining all my clothes-which is disappointing because I WANTED to love this!

Really nice !
I have only had the rose gold version of this band for 2 days but my first impression is a positive one. The color of the band is a near perfect match to the rose gold trim of my Versa 2. The mesh itself is a very fine gauge and looks classy- not cheap look at all. It was a bit tricky to attach to the watch face but it seems like it will last for quite awhile. The adjustment clasp is a bit tight to open but once you figure it out and adjust to the correct size I’m sure the “tightness” will be a good thing and not allow it to “pop open”. Ultimately I am impressed enough I just ordered a second band to replace the first in the event that something happens to it! Great price for what appears to be very good quality!

Comfy & secure- STILL!
It takes a few minutes to set the length when you first get it. But after that, it's easy on & off, and the clasp mechanism makes it very secure. The rose gold color is very nice, and the flexible mesh is smooth & silky against the skin. I've had mine for a couple months now. No fading or discoloration of the metal, even with working out several days/ week & showering with it on. I highly recommend! UPDATE: the photos show how it looks now- a whole year later! NOW 5+ STARS, especially given the under $10 price point!!
