This SEAFLO 12v Self-Priming Impeller Gear Pump has been an absolute lifesaver for my Chrysler 300 supercharger oil scavenging project! Finding a reliable and compact pump for this specific application can be tricky, but this SEAFLO unit has performed flawlessly.The self-priming feature is fantastic. My normal oil change pump went out on my boat. I replaced with this unit - All I need is to be able to drain oil from my boat engines and generator 1-2 times a year. This product seems up to the job.

The wires to the brushes had broke on my older seaflow pump. I emailed support to buy a brush cap, instead they sent me a new pump. Great value at a good price.

Inlet and outlet are not 3/8" NPT. They are 3/8-19 BSPP. NPT is tapered and selas with thread interference, BSPP is Parallel Pipe and seals with an o-ring. Even the box states NPT, but that is incorrect. The barb fittings are a little under 1/2". If all of that works for your application, then you are good to go. But if you plan to swap out fittings for a different barb size for example, you most likely do not have a selection of BSPP fittings in your plumbing drawer.

Works great, I read the negative reviews of leaks on threads. Easy fix with the British threads add metric o-ring to the fitting and all is well. Pumps well with no leaks. I bought nitrile o-ring kit from Harbor Freight because the large assortment kit is cheap.

The media could not be loaded. Out the box, pump had about an ounce of rust water dump out on first use. We will see how long it’ll last…Changed to 1Star. Pump was extremely noisy and stopped pumping the oil.Save yourself the headache.
