Great cocomelon potty song board book
This is a great board book that can help young children with potty training especially if they love cocomelon. So we have been trying to potty Trina in our young son for some time now and have tried a lot of things to varying success, books to read to him on the potty and also at bed time to help normalise the transition have been pretty good I think. This book is literally just the lyrics to the potty song from cocomelon, there is no story to it or anything, it is the lyrics to the song along with images that have been lifted from the show. This is fine if you go in knowing this, but if you have not seen cocomelon or go in expecting a full story with bespoke artwork then you might be disappointed.I recommend watching the song on the show before you read the book so you can get the cadence of the song correct, it will help a lot as with just the lyrics it is hard to get the tempo down. The book is well made and our son likes to sing along with us when we all go through the book together while he is on the potty. Overall I’m happy with the book and it is really good value especially for the cocomelon tie in.

It is decent.
I got it because my daughter has loved and grown up watching cocomelon. But honestly it could have had better illustration for potty training. But it's decent.

Good quality board book
I have 2 grand children - a 2 year old and another nearly 18 months - and they LOVE Cocomelon! Honestly it holds their attention like nothing else. It’s like catnip for babies so they love this book. As both are still in nappies and potty training is on the horizon then this is an ideal time for this book to make an appearance in their lives. Now obviously a book has not got the same immediate attention grabbing qualities as a song or an animation, but the brightly coloured images and the character of JJ are instantly recognisable. The song that appears in this book is actually available on Cocomelon ( just search for “potty training song”) so not only will you have an idea how the song should be sang, you have the accompanying animation with it.As you would expect with most board books the quality is very good, it’s strong and sturdy, there are eight pages and at less than a fiver it is very good value for money.I could wholeheartedly recommend this book but it does help if your children are already familiar with the Cocomelon brand. Mine were, so this was a no brainer.

Great to introduce toddlers to potty training
Our daughter loves Cocomelon and we are just starting to think about her using the potty so this book is perfect for us. It is a nicely printed and solidly made book with bright and colourful images very similar to the animations Cocomelon. My only criticism is at times the image look a bit blurry, like screenshots taken from the animations. It is a really nice story to introduce children to using the potty, it is about a toddler who is trying to learn to use the potty, its sweet and uses very simple language. All the text is large with imagery around it and then a main image on the right hand side. It is a odd thing having a song in a book but it's a nice companion and I think sometimes reading it with your toddler can help them understand more rather than watching an animation. It's really good to introduce toddlers to potty training and as a parent it's a nice book to read with them as more an interactive experience to read and sing together.
