Tasty Korean Syrup
I bought this rice syrup after watching a YouTube video on how to make a Korean dessert that required this ingredient. It came out just perfect, the right amount of sweetness. This rice syrup is a good replacement for those who want the sweetness and consistency of honey, but do not like the flavor of honey. There aren’t any floral or fruity inflections, just pure sweetness. To me, the best description I can come up with is the flavor of the center of a piece of candy, like a Lemonhead. It only radiates sugar so it will not take away from the other flavors in your dish. Also this rice syrup is lower in calories than a comparable amount of honey or corn syrup. This can be used as a substitute for honey or maple syrup and drizzled on pancakes, crepes, and waffles straight out of the bottle. If it is used as a substitute for honey in a recipe, you will have to use a tad bit more as it is not quite as sweet as honey but is any an equal part substitution for corn syrup. This is certified organic by Korean standards.Thank you for reading this review, I hope you found it helpful.

Artisan Jocheong (Rice Syrup)
This is an artisan made rice syrup (jocheong). Kang Bong Seok has been designated as a traditional food master by the Korean Ministry of Agriculture & Foresty. This thick rice syrup has 3 ingredients: Organic Rice, Malt & enzyme. It is less sweet than a corn syrup or sugar. It has a slightly caramel, earthy, grain flavor – much more flavorful than a corn syrup/sugar.I like it on pancakes, crepes, yogurt or corn bread. But it is also good on savory food.

A Delicious All Natural Sweetener That Can Be Enjoyed Like Maple Syrup Or Honey
Kang Bong Seok Master Organic Rice Jocheong is a delicious all natural sweetener. The 17oz bottle holds an amber colored syrup that is made with only three ingredients: organic rice, malt, and enzyme. It has a thicker texture than pure maple syrup and similar in texture to pure honey. It is slightly sweet and can compliment drinks and foods where you would usually use honey or maple syrup. I topped pancakes and toast for breakfast and grilled chicken and salmon for dinner. I found it subtle yet it paired deliciously with each food. There are 15 servings in the container with each 2 tablespoon serving size including 105 Calories, 0g Total Fat, 26g Total Carbohydrates, and 0g Protein. It is a Product of Korea. The product that I received has a best by date of 18 months from the date that I received it. I think this is a tasty sweetener and one that I plan to always have on hand.

It's brown rice syrup
This is just brown rice syrup. So while the "sugar free" claim is true, brown rice syrup actually has around the same glycemic index as sugar, and so it isn't much healthier at all.The flavor is nutty, sweet, complex - I really like it. It's not overly sweet, however, and it takes quite a bit of this syrup to get things sweet enough.I like that it's certified organic, but all in all, I would consider this less healthy than pure maple syrup or honey. It's a processed syrup from rice, and your body will treat it just like sugar.Overall - interesting and a nice honey alternative, but I will stick to maple syrup or actual honey.

Syrup spilled all over
The media could not be loaded. The syrup spilled completely. The delivery was a disaster, the entire order arrived dirty.

Interesting
Not really that sweet. This is almost savory in flavor. It lends itself to use in cooking Asian dishes and in baking. I didn't really like the flavor in tea or on pancakes. Try it if you like.
