Fantastic for shoulder surgery

I sustained a fracture of my upper humerus, and thought this would be ideal to keep ice on it for the first few weeks post fracture. It weight a lot!!! The weight of this was way too much for me to tolerate and I had to return it. It might be fine for some injuries, but for acute fractures, I do not recommend. I will say it was very well made - I'm sure it would work fine for other types of injuries.

6 weeks old and already coming apart at the seams. Gel leaking everywhere. Garbage! Seller only allows returns/replacements after 30 days. I guess that way they can sucker people into buying another one. Waste of money

This is a good shape but it is too stiff to conform to shoulder and arm. Can't put on by myself, Can't be used right after surgery due to not being able to lift arm. Pictures show with elbow bent, hand on hip. That is not the position you are in after surgery!

This shoulder gel pack works great as advertised. It is easy to put on and comfortable to wear. It can be used for cold or hot therapy, and does a pretty decent job of relieving shoulder pain. I'm using it for cold therapy and it stays cold for a pretty long time. It's been 20 minutes since I took it out of the freezer and it is still relatively cold to the touch.The gel pack is sturdy and well made. It is pretty thick and seems durable. One side is a smooth nylon fabric and the other side is lined with soft plush. I'm using the plush side for cold compress and it is comfortable. It sort of shields the sheer coldness from the skin. While frozen, the gel pack stays reasonably pliable. It is easy to wrap around my shoulder and secure with the two elastic straps provided.Overall, this is a great shoulder gel pack. It is fairly large and provides a good coverage. Comfortable and easy to use. Though it is a little hefty and bulky due to the generous amount of gel in it. Anyhow, it works great for me and provides the needed relief for shoulder pain. It gets the job done.
