I've been told that the Carlson brothers, doctors, were pioneers in the field in the 50's. I haven't researched that, but probably true. They're known for high, high quality; I've been impressed. When I was younger, I would use cut-open vitamin E pills to help heal cuts. Multi-tocophorol pills were amazing....cheaper or generics, almost worthless! :) The 'ingredient' list on this bottle shows the stuff I'm looking for. Definitely expensive, but worth it if you need it. I've had surgery, so I was looking for excellent E. This really looks to be the stuff. Carlson has three price/quality levels of E. This one has stuff not in the cheaper versions.one other note - I tried to buy this locally, but it was almost twice the price of what's on-line. Yikes! Glad to find it here.I highly recommend getting the best E you can find. This is probably it. I bought it.- Phil

Contains SOYBEAN OIL!!! Ingredients in amazon photos is wrong. Had to return.
