Q: How well does this instrument hold its tune?

Hi. After the initial stretching of the strings, it stays in tune. I happen to have several different Kmise Ukuleles and they all hold their tune. Best instrument for the price. Love their products!

Q: Do the ukuleles come with the designs shown in the photos?

The ukulele I ordered is plain with no design.

Q: Just received this, and after tuning, the E string does not stay tuned. Is there an easy fix for this, or is it defective?

Bought two for my granddaughters and had zero problems with them. It could be the string stretching, but if it persists, I'd try contacting Kmise or whatever vendor sold it. They are otherwise nicely made, but at these prices a faulty tuner can slip by. If they won't replace the whole uke, a new tuner just needs a screwdriver. Good luck.

Q: Is this a soprano ukelele?

No, it is a concert uke, so the tone is slightly lower, although the tuning is the same: GCEA.
