Cetaphil Face Wash, Hydrating Gentle Skin Cleanser for Dry to Normal Sensitive Skin, 4 oz 3 Pack, Fragrance Free, Soap Free and Non-Foaming

I've been using the Cetaphil Hydrating Gentle Skin Cleanser (8 oz) for a few weeks now, and overall, I'm really happy with it. I have dry, sensitive skin, and most cleansers leave me feeling tight or flaky. This one doesn’t. It’s fragrance-free, non-foaming, and super gentle, which makes it perfect for morning and night routines. What I love most is how soft and hydrated my skin feels afterward. Even if I skip moisturizer (which I try not to), my skin doesn’t freak out. It doesn’t sting my eyes or cause redness, and it layers well under other products. That said, if you’re wearing makeup or sunscreen, this won’t cut it alone. It struggles to remove even tinted moisturizer or light mascara. I had to start double cleansing or using micellar water first. Also, while the newer formula with niacinamide and panthenol sounds great, I did patch test first because my skin can be reactive — thankfully no irritation, but I’ve read some people have had issues.

The item that's pictured is the one I have used for over 40 years. My dermatologist at the time recommended it to me for the cleansing my hands which, to this day, are/remain affected by eczema. The packaging has recently changed and the KEY WORDS, SEARCH TAGS are **WRONG**. It ALARMS and ANNOYS me when my Order Details & Product Description describe the Facial Cleanser. This is the GENTLE SKIN CLEANSER and product pictured is CORRECT. It is also Fragrance-free. This stuff works wonderfully. I don't commonly use this for cleansing my face, but if/when I do, it does leave it clean, calmed, cool, soft and smooth. As others have shared, DO NOT CONFUSE this for other CETAPHIL products. Namely, Daily **Facial** Cleanser and Daily "Refreshing Body" Cleanser. I DO USE another Cetaphil which is great and ALSO unscented. It's the Cetaphil Fragrance Free Ultra Gentle Body Wash; I love it. It's thick and gets nice and foamy using a gentle poofy bath scrubby. I've been able to find it on Smile.Amazon.com in a 3 pack under Subscribe and Save program. This is just my 2 cents worth. Five cents if you consider inflation LOL. Just to be clear, I highly recommend the Gentle Skin Cleanser and the Fragrance-Free Ultra Gentle Body Wash products. I hope you find this helpful in some way.

This stuff works great on your face. Wish I would’ve used it years ago. Great buy.

Very gentle on the skin and does not leave the skin dry. Works well. Makeup removal-great. Thickness-medium. Value for money- a little goes a long way. Longevity-the bottle is big it lasts a long time.

I have been using this product for a long time it is non stripping and very gentle to my very dry skin. It cleans very well. You just have to get use to the fact that it goes on a bit slimy and doesn't foam up.

Great price and quality

I've used this product for almost forty years. Discovered it as a young man in a skin care book. At the time I suffered from occasional break outs and needed something mild to clean my skin. Nothing else worked as well. The cleanser is so mild you can leave it on your skin to soften up oil deposits and black heads. It rinses clean leaving your skin soft. This product and occasional use of pimple cream left my skin free of blemishes. Now the bad news. This batch seems to be the last of the original formula. They have removed the parabens and have a new very different cleanser with glycerin. This product is now very much like dozens of others available. The new formula dries my skin and leaves it itchy. I hope they bring back the original formula. Until then I can't recommend this product.

La verdad había estado teniendo reacciones alérgicas a los jabones comerciales, definitivamente excelente resultado, no irrita y limpia muy bien

Yo soy de piel mixta y este jabón me lo había recomendado mi dermatóloga ya que soy de piel mixta con tendencia a secarse en algunas zonas dependiendo del clima y de los productos que aplique en mi piel. Sin embargo por cuestiones monetarias los cambié a otros y fue el peor error que pude haber cometido ya que los demás jabones me dejaban el rostro como acartonado. Con el Cetaphil, puedo limpiar mi rostro y no sentir esa sensación de tirantes en la piel, sentirla limpia (he hecho pruebas de maquillaje: me desmaquillo con una toalla, limpio mi piel con el cetaphil y luego paso un algodón con agua micelar) cuando aplico el agua micelar es probable que retire restos de máscara de pestaña pero no de base, sombras o polvos en mi piel. Sinceramente si tienes piel mixta/combo o seca te recomiendo que uses este limpiador.
