I use these for woodworking, to mark cut lines on darker wood, where a pencil mark becomes a "seek it and you might find it if you're lucky" exercise. The white lines are far easier to work with, and they can be readily removed after the cuts are made. These pencils do the job well, and are inexpensive compared to other similar items. I don't know if this will help artists much, but five stars for my purposes!

I was a bit worried when I ordered these since I hadn't done business with the company before, but I really like these white charcoal pencils. They are comparable in quality to the General brand, and I like that they came in both soft and medium hardness (three of each). They sharpen well and do the job. Affordable and good quality. I'm glad I ordered them!

I am not an artist, but these seem to do what you want them to do for the most part. They feel just like your average colored pencil, and they layer on top of other colored pencil okay. I wouldn't call them "soft" necessarily, but as I said, I'm really not an artist and just got some art supplies to draw and color for fun and as an outlet. I art for the sake of art, and I do it badly. These look good; they feel good; and they seem to work pretty well. I would get them again.

I gave these pencils a try despite an unfamiliar brand name. I'd say they were as good as any others I had ever used. And less expensive than popular brands.

Work well good value for price.

Breaks easily, I use it for transfers patterns.

When I color on dark cardstock, I like using white pencils first, then, I use the chosen colors. One would never have enough white color pencils. I love them.
