The best brace for drop foot.
I have purchased several braces for my husband who struggled with drop foot. This one is a repeat purchase and I am sure to always have an extra one on hand. Also, it has helped in training the foot to pick up as you walk. It is pretty discreet and easy to use.

Not for people with narrow feet
I ordered this to deal with an ankle and drop foot issue, and was excited to find something that would fit into my shoe. I wear primarily converse and ON shoes, but it didn’t fit into any of my shoes. It is the right side in length, but if you’re an A/AA heal and have narrow feet, do not purchase.

Works!
I’ve had severe foot drop for 3 years now post surgery , I have a custom AFO brace but it’s big and ugly and I hate it :( and I need a size larger shoe for it🙄 this works great! My only complaint is it starts to hurt the bottom of my foot, but it does work! I’m actually ordering a second for work (nurse /12hr shifts)

Great with some caveats
I bought this as a low-profile alternative to my traditional, bulky custom AFOs. Two were purchased, for both feet, as I have foot drop with both due to Charcot Marie Tooth. There is a learning curve to getting these to the right fit for your leg/ankle. The first couple times, it was uncomfortable and felt like my circulation was getting cut off. After lots of adjusting, I finally have them to a good spot where they help, but aren’t squeezing my ankle. My feet aren’t at a perfect 90 degree angle but making them that tight was what made them uncomfortable in the first place. They also do hurt the balls of my feet after wearing them for around an hour. My solution to this was to buy some gel insoles and thread them through the braces inside the shoe. I just did this and haven’t been out with them but that seems to have solved the worst issue! Since I have lots of summer plans, solving this issue was incredibly important. It can be unbearable if you have callouses and corns so do be mindful when considering these. The good thing is that they don’t touch your heels so if you have plantar fasciitis or deformed feet (like me), they won’t bother your heels.Another downside is that the Velcro on the side of the straps rub. I used to wear them without tall socks but they rubbed my ankle raw one day. I didn’t even realize it because I have nerve damage. I haven’t made that mistake since. It’s gotten hot to wear since the weather has warmed up but it’s better than the rubbing or going without the braces. Of course, there are caveats to all mobility assistive devices and these are this one’s.Overall, I think these function incredibly well in comparison to my traditional AFOs without the bulk. I wear them with Nike Air Force 1’s and they fit great. I normally wear a size 8 in women’s and chose the medium size in these; I bought size 9 shoes to go with my traditional AFOs and these braces fit extremely well in them, way better than my other braces. The medium is a great fit, snug on the sides of my feet without being uncomfortable. Though there are the issues I mentioned above, I’m grateful I have them because they have helped me tremendously. I could see how they wouldn’t work for everyone but for me, they are great! I feel so much more confident in my walking!

Wish I could do 5 star……
Best low profile AFO I have used in 35 years of needing one. The design improves my and even most of the slap foot from my drop foot. But the airbag needs redesigned and a pump integrated into the brace itself. The airbag is essential for the support and comfort and deflates consistently and leaves you with the burden of carrying the pump and constantly adjusting.I hope a 2022 design is on the way!!

A bit fragile
I bought two of these one broke almost immediately, but it was replaced promptly then I wore them until I had to bend down and they broke so they’re good and relatively comfortable but not if you’re going to be doing any stressful movement

If this had worked - - I would have made it my main brace
I've been wearing AFO's for a long time and found this brace a couple of weeks ago. Its comfortable, light weight and not as bulky as many other braces that make it difficult to fit into tighter fitting shoes. Unfortunately, after wearing the brace for about ~3 weeks, the cushion sprung a leak and wouldn't stay filled no matter how many pumps I used to fill it up.This is an ideal brace for an evening out with friends, a date, etc, where you'd like to wear nice tighter-fitting shoes that don't have laces - - but I wouldn't make this your main brace. It just won't stand the test of time.

Bad quality and service
Quality really bad and seller doesn’t communicate. I requested a return and haven’t heard back at all. Spent nearly £200
