Manufactured a replacement battery holddown clamp for my friend's lawn tractor. The shop lost his and it would be 2 weeks to get a replacement. Some threaded stock, hex nuts, washers and 'coupling nuts' worked fine. Cheaper and faster, too.

I had a very specific application for this exact size of threaded rod and it kept me from having to cut to length. Did not come up quickly in Amazon search, but I eventually found them. Reasonably priced.

I was initially concerned they would be warped or bent because of the price. I had no reason to be concerned, the threads are super clean too.

Arrived covered in rust. Magnetic..... Definitely not stainless.
