My car has 120k miles on it. I am considering what to use, High Mileage or Extended Performance? Any recommendation? Thx.

Not sure that I can see any difference. If your car has 120K+ miles on it, I would use either. Just change the oil about every 7500 miles or so.

Price. mobil 1 high mileage full synthetic motor oil 5w-30, 6-pack of 1 quarts $53.98, while 5 quart is $27.47. i don't understand.

Is this safe to use in a Generator?

Provided you are using the correct viscosity for your region, I don't see why there would be an issue. I use the Extended Performance in generators and other long length between oil change engines.

How does the performance of this high mileage oil differ from other high mileage oils in your opinion? Other than it being fully synthetic. Thanks.

Have to go on expert reviews over the years that place M1 higher than most other synthetic oils. There are some racing oils that usually get rated a tad higher, but they cost 2/3 times more and are marketed primarily for racing and car nuts. M1 gives me the best value.... a great product at the best price, and for typical owner use it would be hard to beat that combo. Also, it is easily available everywhere oil is sold.
