Does it work well for wheelchair use?

I'm sorry to say we returned this item. My husband tried it in the driver's seat of his van and it made him sit too far forward from the actual seat. Otherwise, he said it was comfortable to sit on.

does it have a frame of any sort ? some thing steady that holds it like wood or a hard material?

No, it does not have a frame. It has straps to anchor to the chair. Mine slides down through the opening between the seat and the back of my curved back kitchen chair.

Can this seat be used in a typical Rollator with curved back strap?

This can not be used on a walker/rollator as the back and seat portions are soft gel filled— they are not firm stand-alone support. Even with a walker back bar or strap I don’t feel this would work for you. It is a great product for cushioning the back/seat of car seats, chairs or in a wheelchair.
