Percival The Peregrine Falcon - 9 Inch Stuffed Animal Plush

This peregrine falcon plush was purchased and delivered just before Christmas and was given as a gift to my teen daughter who is obsessed with birds. I also like to wait a bit before reviewing items meant for kids/teens so I can see how well they hold up over time. Since receiving it, this plush has maintained its shape and quality very well. I do want to note that my daughter is 13, so while she enjoys and handles it regularly, it may not see the same level of constant cuddling or rough use that a plush intended for younger children might. Even with that in mind, the overall construction and stitching feel solid and well made. I honestly did not expect the level of detail this plush has. The coloring and patten look very realistic and what impressed us most was the attention to detail in the feet and talons. Plush animals overlook that area but this one clearly did not. The talons are thoughtfully designed and add a lot to the realism. There truly is nothing negative to say about this one. It exceeded expectations! I would highly recommend it for bird lovers or anyone who appreciates well made plush animals.

Bought this as my baby Redwing for my cosplay outfit as Sam Wilson as Captain America. Got a lot of compliments!! Toy is soft to hold and the feet are sturdy enough for him to stand on his own. Soft to touch and very cute.

After watching the Melbourne falcons on line the wife got a bit upset when the chick died. This little gift cheered her up . the cat likes it too .!

The falcon is made of high quality materials and is well finished. It rests on the forearm nicely but doesn’t readily stand unassisted. The claw pads are too chunky for the claws to sit on a flat surface. The toes came out of the packet curled upward and will need some weight to straighten. It’s very attractive. Price is about right.

Bought this as a gift and it was just as described. It arrived quickly and is now a favourite toy! Happy with purchase.
