Why don't they make this in the platinum/ivory/white color any more? Looks like it has been discontinued.

I have some of the "platinum" cabinets I bought several years ago but after 2014, so they weren't that old. I also wanted to match them rather than get another color but couldn't find the "platinum" anywhere. Finally bought a dark grey, appears this is ONLY color offered now. Not a smart marketing decision! The "platinum" also blends well with other appliances & furniture better than the dark grey & doesn't look as "industrial". I did have one cabinet next to my white refrigerator as a pantry by itself in the kitchen & as the grey is the odd color of them, that's where it goes & of course I'd prefer the "platinum" in kitchen. WAKE UP, Rubbermaid!!! Isn't "the customer" ALWAYS right?!?!

can i store bloom or small vacuum cleaner?

Yes you can; however, you will do so by sacrificing shelves. They are removable. Example: I store golf clubs which leaves me with just a couple top shelves.

How much weight do the shelves hold?

This is the response from Sterilite. Our suggestion for maximum weight capacity for the shelves is 40 lbs. per shelf for item #0142. It is best to distribute the weight evenly over the length of the shelf as opposed to keeping heavier objects on the shelf center, which could cause distortion and eventual damage. Heaviest items stored on the shelving unit should be kept on the bottom shelf or floor of the unit.

Are the shelf heights adjustable?

The shelf heights are not adjustable, that's why it's so easy to put together. It's a strong plastic. The legs are all the same size and fit into each shelf the same way. I have 3 and they are awesome.
