I struggle with razor bumps, and this shaving set has made a huge difference. The shaving soap and cream create a thick, slick lather that lets the razor glide smoothly, and since I started using it, my razor bumps have basically disappeared. The included bowl and brush make it easy to work up a good lather, and the whole setup feels a lot more comfortable on my skin than regular canned shaving cream. On top of that, it’s a nice-looking set and would make a great gift. For anyone dealing with irritation and razor bumps, this has been a game changer for me.

Like the shave cream has a nice scent and the brush is great. Not used to the shaver. Very sharp and unforgiving if you’re not careful. Think I will stick to safety razors. Overall it is a nice product at a good price.

People say that the bowl is small, but I found it to be more than adequate. As far as the razor, it seems solid. I dried it off inside after shaving because I don't want it to rust and I recommend everyone else does, as well. The soap scents smell good, although the "Sweet Orange" is less masculine than the "Sandlewood". I agree with another reviewer that they don't lather well, but you can probably use a lot more to create more lather. One thing I found strange was the instructions. Neither the shaving cream nor the shaving soap instruct you to use the bowl or brush, which leaves you wondering what was the purpose of the bowl and brush lol. The instructions say to wet your face and the soap, then rub the soap on your face. I didn't do that. What I did, instead, was to soak the brush in hot water for a few minutes, then rub it against the soap to "load it up" with soap, then rub the brush against the bowl in circles to create the lather. The only downside to this is that the water from the soap will leave a bit of a mess so, if you're going this route, keep two bowls near you - one to hold the soap and one to create the lather. If you buy soap in the future, buy one that comes in a jar so you don't have to have two bowls around. The only thing that would've made this better is to have a stand, but I can't complain. For the price you pay, you can't beat this, and a stand ain't that expensive, either. Overall, I highly recommend this kit.

I’ve only used the cream in the tube not the pucks yet. I used my original bowl for the cream. The pucks that come with this are tiny, as also the bowl that is included. It’ll be an exact fit for the two. Never had any intention to use the bowl that comes with the bundle, but I don’t see how I can get an effective lather with my bigger standard size bowl. So I’ll have to use the included one. **Hopefully I’ll remember to do an update at a later time after I use the soap, just ran out of the cream this morning ** ***UPDATE*** Started using the actual soap puck within the last couple weeks and man lemme tell ya! I’d be hard pressed to choose a different brand. Sure, I worried like to see better sized pucks for the standard size bowls, but I haven’t experienced a good amount of lather from a low costing shaving soap in quite some time. This is worth every bit of the price you pay and so much more. Five stars for this item. Buy it!

You get a tremendous amount of value for 20-ish dollars? 5 items of shaving cream( i like the smell of all of them), a shaving bowl and brush, and a razor. A whole shaving kit, so i jump at the opportunity. I would say if you subtracted 1 or 2 items you would still get your moneys worth. With that thinking it is why I haven't asked for a refund for having the razor break immediately during the first shave. The razor handle head can dislodge and remain open. It might be possible for me to fix and i will try at a later time. The soaps I have not used but they do smell nice to my nose, not overly strong or chemical. The tube shaving cream does not lather well, following the directions they recommend using a small amount, several shaving attempts have not netted a good lather no matter small amount or larger amount of used. The bowl and brush has been the best part of this set. The bowl is a nice medium small size with nice curved walls. Cleaned easily and i imagine it hold out well hopefully over years. The brush is nice and soft and i don't think i have lost any bristles yet or very few over 5 uses. I can only offer 3 stars because of the broken handle and the poor lather of the cream. If i can fix the handle and or get good results with the bar soap I plan to come back and adjust the review for the better because I feel like the effort was made for a good set but cost analysis was just off. I think 5 dollars more per set to make a better handle and make sure the lather was better would make this product a near must buy.

I enjoy shaving with this set more than I know how to tell you. This really works. I was leery of the man made bristles on the brush because I have always used boar bristles, but this changed my mind. I believe I am now almost addicted to this set. I am awed by the shaving soap. I just really like the experience of shaving with this set.

I had no idea I would love this shaving soap so much! I was tired of having to buy cans of shaving cream so I bought a few of these sets and I highly recommend them! The soap smells amazing, it's moisturizing and keeps my legs silky smooth. Plus less waste for the garbage! The stainless steel cup and brush are very well designed and high quality. After you use the brush, rinse it and give it a few hard shakes to get the water out then sit it upright to dry, I haven't had any issues with it smelling or getting moldy. Buy it!
