Zodiac - 3000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle - Fantastic, Beautifully Captivating Depiction of The Twelve Signs of The Zodiac - Frameable - Premium Quality - Puzzles for Adults

This is a great puzzle for those who like a challenge. The Zodiac panels themselves were pretty straightforward since each has a unique set of artwork and colors. The Sun, Pisces and Aquarius in particuar (see picture) really jumped out of the pile early on. The real difficulty came in when trying to do the concentric circles around the center panel and the edge. There is so much gold on black between the rings, the zodiac symbols, and the edge frame. The edge presented its own hurdles. There were several points where dealing with a set of entirely black pieces and occasional (and repeating) filligree details caused entire sections (especially near the corners) to be transposed. But once the misplaced blocks got to be 3x2 or bigger, it was obvious that they didn't belong and needed to be swapped. But other than that, this was a thoroughly enjoyable challenge. It took me just over a month, average 2 hours a day.

This was a great puzzle. 2 people working on it, took around 3 weeks to get it finished - total perhaps 100-120 hours combined. This was possibly the first puzzle I've ever done where we did the border last. Because it is black and mostly featureless, it made sense to separate the pieces out and leave it until the end. Attempts to build the border earlier lead to frustration and mistakes. Pieces fit together well and were unique enough to mostly prevent mismatching. A really fun and beautiful puzzle.

We purchased this puzzle for our astrology-loving girl who is turning 15 this summer. Lucky for us, she also loves puzzles! This is the first puzzle our family has purchased larger than 2000 pieces so we were a bit nervous about where she would have the space to put the puzzle together -- husband wound up buying a piece of plywood for her to put in the floor in her bedroom so she could have space for the puzzle and the pieces -- so far it's working great. We're lucky we had the space! The pieces are sturdy and easy to pull apart but not easy enough to pull apart as you're piecing the puzzle together -- a win, win! She wants to frame it in her room once she's done with it, the color quality (even thoughts is a relatively dark puzzle) is beautiful -- the colors are rich and vibrant and the detail is top notch. One thumbs down we have to give is this -- when we received the box appeared to have gotten wet. It was weird - the amazon packaging (for shipping purposes) was dry and didn't appear to be damaged but the puzzle box itself was warped a bit -- as if it had gotten wet and then maybe dried. It was delivered during a rain storm, but we made sure to not let it sit on the porch and grabbed it as soon as the delivery driver dropped it off. We contemplated returning it but decided it ultimately wasn't Amazon's fault that it was wet. The water damage didn't affect the puzzle itself or the picture on the box so we decided to keep it. I'm excited to see how big it turns out to be -- we're going to need a really big frame!

Love the quality of Ravensburger puzzle pieces. The colors are brilliant as advertised and the resolution of the picture is crisp. The puzzle itself was quite challenging and somewhat tricky. Enjoyed every moment of completing this puzzle.

This puzzle is very cool! Took about 2 1/2 weeks for me to complete. It was definitely challenging! There are pieces that seem to fit but upon close inspection they don’t especially in the corners w the scrolling design. That was frustrating! Only puzzle I’ve ever worked that I did the edges last. Read that tip from someone else who had done it and I think it’s good advice! I gave it 4 stars for the pieces that fit but don’t and some even almost wanted to rip apart when I tried to get them back out. Overall tho would recommend!

I ABSOLUTELY love this puzzle, the colors, the pieces, quality, and the picture! I cannot wait to build this puzzle, it will be glue worthy. The pieces are thick, love the different shapes and the fit of the pieces.

I thought it might be novel to assemble a 3000 piece puzzle. I liked the graphics and the Ravensburger reputation of quality. The primary problem with this 32" x 48" puzzle is that it does not come with a poster, only the roughly 9" x 13" picture on the box. Details, critical to this elaborate a puzzle, are simply not visible. With 3000 pieces, discerning detail is critical. I can't believe it didn't have a poster. Second, the highly-touted Softclick Technology did little to hold pieces together as they were assembled. I was constantly having to re-connect pieces. Forget moving an assemblage of 5-6 pieces together. They just fell apart. Very frustrating. Third, there were many pieces which were essentially interchangeable, both in color and geometry. For color, you just couldn't see subtle shading nuances. A piece seemed correctly placed but, upon examination with a magnifying glass, you could see that the colors didn't quite match up. With the all-black border pieces, tiny differences in geometry were almost impossible to see. The artwork and colors are excellent. But due to the shortcomings above, this puzzle took 2 1/2 months of very frustrating part time assembly to complete. Not fun. Punitive. Finally, some of the pieces showed wear suggesting that the puzzle was not new but may have been returned after someone else gave up on it. Not a major problem, I guess, but it added to the frustration. You have to wonder if there was a poster originally which didn't make it when it was returned.

Das Motiv hat tolle Farben und ist wirklich schön und in gewohnter Qualität. Das schwierigste war hier der Rand für mich. Das Puzzle besteht wohl aus 2 Seiten. Heißt die Puzzleteile gibt es immer 2 mal. Wenn ich ein Teil z.B rechts oben falsch hatte wusste ich genau es musste links unten an die gleiche Stelle, dies Betrifft auch den Rand. Es war schon eine kleine Herausforderung:) Aber es hat viel Spaß gemacht. Ich habe etwa 15 Std gebraucht alles zusammen.
