ABUS ABU3755C Padlock, Black, 55mm

This lock gets a 10 rating for security level and pick resistance.It is also very resistant to corrosion, which is just what I need.

Lock arrived from Amazon Germany in factory sealed package. Quality is impeccable, the lock is heavy and operates flawlessly. I feel confident that this padlock will serve my needs for many years.

I am using this with the abus ground anchor and the abus 14KS 6' Square Chain and Sleeve - 9/16" to secure my trailer to my driveway. All of these things fit together with the least amount of left over space so no one should have any leverage to try and attack it. There is no way anyone is getting my trailer without an angle grinder and a good amount of time and noise.

It might take some creativity to get it to fit on a storage unit door, but it's the more secure for it. I may have bought the ABUS 20/70 which is a discus lock with the same core for less money and the same effect. Just be aware of your options, both locks are great for the storage unit job.

One review indicated this lock was too large for a Public Storage locker, but it fits just fine if it is angled slightly down when installed. The facility I have, a locker, is rife with theft; hopefully, two of these monsters will make the thieves think twice before attempting to steal.

Key needs jiggling a bit to open but nonetheless great design and easy to use. I like that the shank completely removes making it easy to loop into funky spaces

Lock has a shackle that is thicker than even larger standard storage locks, does not fit through standard lock holes. Seller won't respond to messages, only refunds $20 worth of shipping, costs over $100 to send back from US. Watch out for this product and seller! I'm just out $100 now, Amazon was of ZERO help. Stuck with a useless lock.

I rest easy knowing that locker thieves can't violate my locker, unless they cut apart the steel locker which will take time and power cutting tools. They'll skip mine and hit other lockers that are easier to break into
