I've collected about 100 swords and although I'm no expert, every sword I've purchased under $600 is made in India and China just like the Kit Rae swords from United Cutlery. This sword is one of only two I have at this price point with this level of quality. It's heavier than other swords I have this length, the etching is legit and not a cheap stamp, it is tight and solid and does not rattle or wobble, so all in all, this is the best value I've seen under $200 in a long time.
