speedtalk saved me at least 80% on monthly GPS device data…
ill start with saying that upon finding myself in need of such a service(GPS tracking device data capable SIM) - id only known various random bits of information surrounding GPS tracking devices - part of which being that i had come to need one. after having spent far too much time researching these devices & the methods by which to connect them - id purchased a few to test out. i quickly realized that these devices can, too, be “locked” to a “carrier”(or in this case, proprietary software) & head back to my search… i’d finally found a few that seemed to be open network as per their description section so i’d purchased them… upon receiving them, id opened one of my SpeedTalk sim cards & followed their - by the way, very easy to understand, short & sweet, quick & efficient - included activation instructions - which also allowed me to select an area code & location of my choosing - which, i think is sorely under appreciated in regards to providers’/ companies’ level of personalization in the area of privacy customization (including everything even $5 data plan lines) & how ST compares to its competition - they provide those options & for people like me who need a GPS device for safety concerns - the ability to customize that area code to register somewhere else in case it were ever something that could potentially create - i can be assured it won’t.the setup was extremely easy, quick activation.they say allow up to 24h for full activation (as a buffer)…. but it didn’t take that long for my device to be up & running.i was able to successfully activate my device & use it on the devices backend software as they allow you to bring your own sim…i also think it’s worth noting that a lot of these devices state that you need either a 2g, 3g, 4g-etc.. well, regardless, this SpeedTalk sim is ableto operate on all bandwidths & so it would enable you to have a wider selection of possible devices.2-3 weeks in with using ST sim in my device & i have no complaints. quick response time. quick refresh. constant logging if i request. accurate locations within feet. !!!very impressed.overall 10/10 would recommend. their customer service is fantastic & assisted me in making sure my APN was correct & waited with me until my device rebooted. i am very pleased & will be using them in the future for sure.

BEWARE!! They stole my credit card number!!
UPDATE:I bought one of these cards for a friend and he also had the card he used to activate his account have fraudulent charges. He also has never had problems with fraudulent charges until now. BEWARE use a GIFT card or a one time use card ## from your credit card company.Original Review:I had trouble getting their website to charge my card for a full year so I didn't have to worry about the charges for awhile. I had to call their support to manually charge the card.I used a credit card I ONLY use for monthly bills. When I called their support number, SpeedTalk was the ONLY company I gave the actual credit card number to in over a year. The person I spoke to was definitely foreign and spoke broken English.I was not thrilled with the prospect of having to give my card number over the phone to begin with and about 1 week after giving their agent the card number to charge the $54 for a year of service, my card was used for over $1000 in charges. It could be a freak coincidence but I do not think so because all of the other charges on that card are automatic bills that have been setup for years. This was the first new charge added to the card in over a year.

Speedtalk Excellent: COST & ASSISTANT IN TRACKING (This review is for usew/Tkstar915)
I like the cost effectiveness of using the SpeedTalk Sim card. I have had no issues except just trying to figure out how to put the sim card in the tracker correctly for 30 minutes(maybe I was just tired lol). When I ran out of minutes, I was emailed nicely from SpeedTalk when that occurred(and beforehand I was not able to get any tracking info. from the tracker because of running out).So I went on the SpeedTalk site, (in which I did not have to leave the credit card on for auto refill if I didn't want to) I paid for another $5 to be added. I'll be honest, I could not understand how to add the minutes to the current sim card, but I tried. After I paid and hoped that I selected the right boxes on my account to have the time continued to the sim, I tracked the tracker and it said that message blocking was active and it was not tracking properly. To remedy the situation I just called one of the VERY FRIENDLY, SMART CSRS at SpeedTalk to help me. I explained and was completely understood and the csr had HELPED ME PROACTIVELY.Though it took a while, a few holds, the problem was resolved. The EXCELLENT CSR (you know who you are, ALL OF YOU AT SPEED TALK) applied the 30 day service I had paid for onto the sim card so that the tracker could keep doing its job efficiently(which WOULDNT HAPPEN WITHOUT SPEEDTALK MOBILE). I thank you for the offer to provide WONDERFUL, COST EFFECTIVE SERVICE that has turned out to really assist me tremendously, "A HAND UP FOR ME.". Even though there is not complete coverage in the outskirts of the towers, if you know a vehicles usual destinations its no biggie. If you don't know the destinations, you can schedule messages to be sent to the tracker so you can track where it goes all day and look at the locations anytime later in the day or week or when you get to it. Either way, SPEEDTALK IS WORTH A TRY.
