Hillsdale Chelsea Headboard, Rails Not Included without, Queen, Classic Brass

This brass headboard is simply beautiful! It fit the queen size bed perfectly and gives my guest bedroom an air of sophistication. Though it’s light in weight, it appears to be sturdy. A friend who is handy with tools assembled it for me, and it only took him 15 to 20 minutes max.

The headboard for my full size bed was beautiful. I was very, very happy with it. My daughter put it together and it was fairly simple to do. It looks so nice over my bed. My daughter is joking that it is the guest bedroom, it is that nice.

Headboard is pretty and the gold tone matches the handles/knobs on the other furniture in the room. The screw holes lined up good with the bedframe I had bought. I am older and it was a struggle for me to assemble it. I think the headboard was overpriced and should have cost about one hundred dollars. After paying the price for the headboard, I did not want to pay for the expert assembly. I succeeded in assemblying it and it seems to be sturdy enough. There is slight noise(rattle) from the headboard; not from the caps that go on the posts, but from the middle section on the headboard.

It arrived very well packaged and was fairly simple to assemble. I did struggle with attaching the leg posts as the fit was extremely tight. Overall, I love the look and I’m very happy with the headboard.

This is not a huge headboard, and it is not solid brass (it is plated), but it is a good price, and the appearance is perfectly fine. It can be mounted as a headboard (shown) or mounted lower as a footboard (not shown because we didn't want one.) The result is very attractive, as you can see in the photo!

The product arrived Via my regular USPS mailman in a damaged and retaped box and inside the metal “grill” was scratched and dented. However by turning that side to the wall it looks pretty good so I’m keeping it. I was not able to attach to my “Previ” adjustable bed frame even with the hardware that came with the Previ for attaching headboards. The 62.5” width of this headboard just extends too far past the 60” normal queen size bed. However, we bolted the headboard to the wall and unless I ever want to move it, all is well! Looks pretty dramatic and I like it.

This is a very attractive & sturdy headboard. It took about 15 minutes to assemble and mount.The mounting at the legs should fit any standard bed frame.I had questions about the dimensions and asked both the manufacturer and Bison Office. Bison Office responded; Hillsdale the manufacturer did not.Update: for those interested in the lower mounting holes here is a diagram with the dimensions. Dimensions start at what would be the bottom of the tube when mounted to the bedframe. Again, it mounted perfectly to the standard bed frame we got at the mattress store.
