Great stone alternative
My stone cracked over time and finally broke. I decided to buy the cast iron alternative and this one fits perfectly. It is very heavy compared to the stone but not as fragile. Should last longer than the egg itself.

It’s not a bad plate setter, it is a different design from the last one I ordered from the same company. Was hoping to get the same one, but this one collect grease because of the pool like design, even after wrapping in tin foil, I’m only 3 cooks in and it has already cracked.

Great Replacement for my Husbands Green Egg
It is nice to have something that does not break. It is very sturdy, durable and very heavy so be careful moving it. We already replaced the XL ceramic conveegtor once and getting another one was not worth getting because it would break again. This cast iron piece will last a lot longer. I highly recommend as a replacement.
