Oversized review for the FitcamX. Hope this helps with some buyers looking for a dashcam. It seems like dashcams are almost a neccessity with all the craziness on the roads. Be safe everyone! Packaging: The camera packaging was very impressive. The cameras and cables were neatly placed and protected. Installation: Installation instructions were very straight forward for the front camera. The tool provided made it easy to removal the small plastic cover where the front camera will be mounted. Connecting the wire harness was a little difficult with my large hands but eventually got it connected. I have not installed the rear camera yet but did test it and works great. Note: The rear camera cable attached to the main camera is a bit long. (It’s not the manufacturer’s fault. It is designed this way for a reson). Tucking it away will be a bit difficult without it being visible through the front windshield. I highly recommend setting enough time to install both cameras to avoid the mistake I made. iPhone App: To get a successful connection, you must turn off cellular completely (I had to toggle off my esim line temporarily on my iphone 16 pro max. If you need to take this extra step, DO NOT DELETE YOUR carriers ESIM, toggle it off only), and turn off bluetooth to successfully connect to the camera’s WiFi. An extra step, I had to make sure “local network” permission was turned on for the FitcamX app in iphone settings<apps<FitcamX app<local network-toggle on. (I tested with permissions turned off and I was not able to successfully connect to the camera until I turned it back on). Once connected to the camera, the app is very straight forward. Not too many configurations to play with, which makes it very simple. If you decide to purchase the camera, please be aware that there may be a delay with delivery as the camera was not warehoused in the U.S. FitcamX customer service through Amazon was very responsive and happy with their service. For me, it was worth the wait as it looks great in my XC40 and performs well. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with their product. ***I ended up using a spare endurance 256GB memory card from my GoPro. Sorry, no review for the included memory card. I’ll keep it as a back-up.

Easy installation and excellent fit; excellent quality video; looks like a factory accessory. Only comment, the guy in the video must have had tiny fingers 'cause I had to go up in there with a pair of needle nose pliers to unplug the connector! From there on out- easy peasy! Only had to remove the small panel that is replaced by the camera, not the entire housing, and they provide the plastic lever to open the panel. I also like the fact that it turns on and off with the car ignition, you can just forget it until you need it. Works fine with my iPhone 11 Pro.

Looks great. From the outside it was hard to see the camera. Very sleek. Needed to bring it in for professional installation. The cord didn't have enough slack to pull down. My tech removed the complete assembly but it was quick. He said that of all the dashcam he installed, this was his favorite. Looks factor.

I love this dashcam and I looked at a ton to compare before buying. The fit and finish of this dashcam is incredible and more often than not I forget that it's installed. Everything was included to install the dashcam and the instructions were clear to get the job done in under 30 minutes. The app is no frills, but once you have the settings you want, the likelihood you open the app again is low. If I need to gather footage, I take the MicroSD out of the camera and use my computer. Camera quality is pretty good during the day and decent at night. The footage gathered would be usable if needed.

I was concerned that it shipped from outside the US and no delivered by Amazon, but there were no issues.

Great product I’m very happy and excited with it.
